Point: because Inter Istanbul won the GEO Cup, they are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, meaning Atlético Barcelona is 6 points back on Olympique de Bastille and FC Tokyo Sakura for a playoff spot.

you're so right
(maybe there could be some sort of indication of that in the graphic? perhaps a different color?)

We took down Bukchon in another huge match, and another shakeup at the top of the table puts us just three points back. We'll need to keep winning and things to fall our way, but a short week against Munich could give us the boost to the top. Featured for us this week is midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who scored once on two shots and added an assist against the Stripes.

Atlético are rolling, picking up yet another win, and gaining three points on Sakura in our quest for a playoff spot. The road gets much trickier from here, though, and it starts with a home fixture against 1. VfV Munich 1158. They've put together a little win streak of their own as they continue to jockey for position near the top of the table. Luckily for us, we finally have D Jarrad Branthwaite healthy, and he showed just how valuable he is, assisting on our only goal of the match while shutting down Roma with six clearances and four aerials won. #KeepClimbing

To put it lightly, that was not a good week for us. The short turnaround seemed to have gotten to us, as we put up a stinker against Munich. We'll need to move on quickly from that loss and keep looking towards the top, and that will have to come on the road against Sydney Harbour, who equally lost big against Olympique and are looking to rebound. With most of our team either injured or suspended, we'll need the reliable goalkeeper Gianliugi Donnarumma to man the backline, as he made 3 saves and somehow earned a clean sheet last matchweek.

A huge win over Munich has Atlético continuing to roll with our fifth straight win. While we've moved up to the eighth spot in the table, we're still not in a postseason position yet thanks to Inter Istanbul's GEO Cup win, so we still have work ahead of us. Luckily, our next game comes in México City against last-place CF Federal. Fed will have to contend with M Nico O'Reilly, who has two goals in his last two games, including a brace last weekend. #KeepClimbing

Following Game 20 of 26 of the regular season

Following a win over Bukchon Hanok Stripes last game, we're in a three way tie for second on the table, just three points back on IFK Stockholm for the top spot. This week, however, we travel to Spain to take on Atlético Barcelona at Camp Vell. They're in a 3-way right now with The Arcs and The Cherry Blossoms for the last two playoff spots, so we definitely need to be at our best. We'll be in the clash kits for this one because they, well, clash with either of The Ibexes kits. We'll be looking to our top performer from the last game as midfielder Diego Gómez led the team, and we'll look to him again this time out. #TheGoldStandard

A sixth consecutive win for Atlético has us finally back in the playoff picture thanks to not being last in a four-way tiebreaker. Unfortunately, a couple injuries have piled up, and thanks to the short turnaround, we'll be missing a few of our top players for this one. The timing is pretty awful, seeing as we're coming up on perhaps our toughest stretch of the season, and that starts with a home fixture against Eye of the Sun FC. One player who will be available is a new addition to the team, Brazilian forward Rayan. While the 19-year-old didn't get on the scoresheet in his first start with the team, he did get close, making three key passes and a couple of successful contests. #KeepClimbing
