We would end up pummeling Federal to extend our points streak to 5 games, and also sit near the top of the table for the first time in nearly a year. After a well-needed international break, we return to action away from home against the reigning champions Amsterdam KVV. They have not had the start that they have wanted, and they need to turn it around if they want to defend their championship. Featured for us this week is M Bruno G., who scored once on two shots, added an assist, and won three tackles in a clean sheet win.

It was a tight one against Stripes, but ultimately, Atlético came out the other side with three points as we head back to Barcelona. Meeting us there will be Intercontinental Istanbul, who are only three spots ahead of us in the table, so this one could certainly go either direction. The Old Club are coming off a close loss of their own last week, so they'll be hungry for revenge. The first star in our last game went to F Georginio Rutter, who delivered 2 shots on goal and 2 key passes - one of which was an assist. #KeepClimbing

The reining champions in Amsterdam couldn't get anything going against us, and we netted our fifth win in a row. Thanks to every other team that was tied with us last week losing their matches, we somehow sit just 3 points behind the top spot in the table. We finally return home to face the Stripes of Bukchon Hanok, who are sitting firmly midtable after a surprise finals appearance in their first year in the top flight. Featured for us this week is F Jean-Phillipe Mateta, who was essentially our entire offense against Amsterdam, scoring a hat-trick on 5 shots and an accurate cross.

It wasn't the greatest week for Atlético, but we were able to shut down Istanbul's offense to pick up another win. We now sit just three points back of the massive tie going on in the middle of the pack, meaning we're firmly back in the picture. We keep things moving against one of those 15-point clubs, as we visit Japan to take on FC Tokyo Sakura. The Blossoms just got crushed by the top team in the league, Sydney Harbour, and will be looking for a bounce-back game. Unfortunately for them, they'll have to contend with G Đorđe Petrović, who just had his best game of the season so far, saving all four shots he faced to keep KIK off the board. #KeepClimbing

Our 5 match points streak came to an end with a poor outing at home against Bukchon Hanok Stripes. We still remain in the top portion of the table, but are now tied with African rival Eye of the Sun for 6 points behind the top spot. We turn to the road to head north to Istanbul to take on Inter Istanbul, who sit in the mess known as the middle of the table but could leap up from 8th with a win. Polish D Matty Cash had one of his best games of the season last matchweek, scoring a goal on his only shot of the match along with an interception, two tackles, and four clearances on defense.
