Coming off a big win at home in the Penguin jersey set over the Steelheads, we head south to take on the Bandits. They're dealing with an injury to starting quarterback Kyler Murray, but they still have quite a bit of talent on their side of the ball, including former Emperors Jameson Williams, Jake Elliott, and Rhamondre Stevenson. We're getting healthier and may see the return of CeeDee Lamb and/or Terry McLaurin, but we'll keep leaning on our running back duo of Christian McCaffrey and Jonathan Taylor. We'll be in the yellow helmets, white jerseys and white pants for this one, and are featuring our first defensive lineman on the season in Jordan Davis. He had 6 tackles last week and a big sack of Steelheads QB Jordan Love! #LiveFromNewYork

It came down to the wire, but the Steelheads were able to grind out a low-scoring win over the Cyclones to edge back over .500 on the year. Unfortunately, we've somehow fallen from first in the division to fourth, as San Diego, Utah, and Los Angeles all won as well, and scored enough points to pass us on the tiebreaker. That tie is not going to last very long, as the Raptors play the Sabercats and we host the Destroyers. San Diego is coming off a very close win of their own against St. Louis, so we both have a fair amount of momentum heading into this week's contest. It's kicker week in Seattle, as K Brandon Aubrey had a huge day, hitting field goals from 29, 47, and 61 yards out, and being perfect on 5 extra point attempts. #GoDeep

We played our best in a defensive battle for the ages, but the Steelheads just eeked out the win to hand us our second loss on the year. This year appears to be different in the Central, as three teams are within a game of each other and two of them are tied for the division lead. One of those teams is us, and the other are our opponents this week- the Kansas City Scarecrows. They've had a great turnaround over the past few years and are determined to win the division, being the only team since 2020 to not win the Central title. It'll be hard with our third straight road game, but our defense has been on point recently, including S Tykee Smith, who totaled 13 tackles (8 solo) and a sack against Seattle last week.

The Destroyers edged out St. Louis in a tight win to move back above .500, but there’s no time to rest as the second half of the season starts with a trip to the Emerald City to face the Steelheads for the first time on the road since I took over as owner (still not sure how that’s possible, but here we are). Seattle sits neck-and-neck with us in the crowded West and is coming off a close win of their own, so it’s shaping up to be a battle of momentum. We’ll be hitting the field in our navy helmets, white jerseys, and navy pants, ready for what could be a statement game in the divisional race. Leading the charge is WR Chris Olave, who was electric last week with 98 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the win over St. Louis. #WaveOfDestruction

With a huge win over the Bandits last week, we head back home to face division foes Buffalo. The Bolts and Emperors have some history, with the infamous Eli Manning refusing to play for the Emperors so we drafted him and traded him to Buffalo for Phillip Rivers and multiple draft picks. It seems to have worked out for both of us, but now it's a new era, with Josh Allen leading them into the Polo Grounds to face Jalen Hurts and the Emperors. We'll be in all yellow for this one, as it is Night at the Museum Night, where we're handing out T-Rex skeleton bobbleheads of AMNH 5027 from the American Museum of Natural History here in New York! Our featured player had as much destruction as one would expect if there was a T-Rex on the football field, as Will Anderson Jr. had himself a day with a strip sack where he recovered the football himself and ran it in for a touchdown! #LiveFromNewYork

The Steelheads couldn't get much going against the Destroyers, and fall behind in the race for the West Division. There are still a lot of games to be played however, and the next one we need to worry about is a date with Kentucky. The Stallions stumbled out of the gate this year, but have things going back in the right direction, so another win for them would be huge. To prevent that, we'll turn once again to QB Jordan Love, who was impressive despite not getting a lot of help from the rest of his offense. Love still managed to throw for 360 yards and 3 TDs in the loss. #GoDeep

The Destroyers keep rolling as a big win in Seattle bumps us up to 5-3 and keeps that perfect divisional record intact. It doesn't matter that the Steelheads have had our number for the last few years; this time, we flipped the script and came out on top in the Emerald City. Now, it's back home to Oceanside Stadium for a 2 game homestand and up first is a showdown with the Utah Raptors, who just dropped one to our SoCal rivals, the LA Sabercats. We'll be suiting up in navy helmets, navy jerseys, and grey pants, looking to keep the momentum going. Tee Higgins was a key piece in last week's win, hauling in a touchdown and 44 yards through the air, and we'll look to him again to have a great performance against the Raptors this week to stay perfect in the division. #WaveOfDestruction

A huge win over our division rival Scarecrows puts us a game ahead in the Central. Our schedule seemingly doesn't like us playing more than 1 divisional game in a row, so we go back to sweet home Chicago to welcome Vulcans to town for the first time in a while. Birmingham hasn't had the best first year back, but a win against us could change things for the better for them. Featured for this week is RB Chase Brown, who set a season high last week with 105 total yards (73 yards rushing, 22 yards receiving) and 2 total TD's. We'll be back in our standard home sets of red helmets, red jerseys, and tan pants.
