In what seems to be a recurring trend, the Thunderbirds hold off a late charge from the Pandas in a game where no one could stop scoring. We've already punched our ticket into the playoffs, but we can clinch the CL pennant with a win over fellow bird rival in the New York Blackbirds. Holding down the fort for us is RP Trevor Megill, who effectively locked himself in as our closer, earning 4 saves on 4 opportunities while striking out 4 and only allowing a single earned run. #Thunderstruck

Thanks to extremely solid pitching from the Atoms (and/or extremely poor hitting from the Masons), we've completed the season sweep over Boston and have officially clinched a playoff spot for the fourth year in a row. Unfortunately, Oakland won, meaning we didn't get the chance to clinch the NL crown, but we can take matters into our own hands this week, as we face the Squirrels for the first time since Opening Day. SP Jacob Lopez leads the charge, dominating the Masons lineup to the tune of 07 scoreless innings and 09 Ks, earning a quality start and a win. #GoldBars

For once in what seems like weeks, we were able to put away our opponent without becoming a barn burner. With our win against the Blackbirds, we managed to win the first CL pennant on our home turf. We could take it easy for the rest of the year, but we don't want to let off the gas just yet, as seeding is still in play. We have to embark on our final road trip of the year, going down to Tampa to take on our former AL rival in the Turtles. They're already out of a playoff spot, so they'd want to play spoiler against a former foe. Featured for this week is C/DH Ben Rice, who batted 5/12 for 1 home run and 7 RBI's in our DH timeshare spot. #Thunderstruck

- Tampa Bay was eliminated this week with their loss to Minnesota
- Arizona has clinched the Continental League with their win over New York.
- Las Vegas and Detroit become the third and fourth teams to clinch playoff spots with their respective wins over Boston and Havana.
This week sees no one able to be eliminated from the playoffs entirely, so if you're not Carolina, Chicago, Havana, Kansas City, Memphis, Montreal, Tampa Bay, or Toronto you are still in the playoff hunt.
- Oklahoma City can clinch the American League with a win over Havana OR a Detroit loss to Los Angeles.
- Las Vegas has the simplest path to clinch the National League since they face Oakland: a win or a tie gets them in.
- San Diego can clinch a playoff spot with a win over Carolina OR losses by at least one of Los Angeles or Boston. Keep an eye on that Detroit and Los Angeles game with playoff implications on both sides, and Boston facing Chicago.
- Both Oakland and Minnesota can clinch playoff spots with a win AND losses by both Los Angeles and Boston. We've gone over the Oakland, Los Angeles, and Boston games already, and Minnesota will be taking on New York, who is only one game up on the Condors and Masons for the final playoff spot.

With our win over Memphis last week, it puts us in the situation where we can clinch the American League this week. This week is a touch easier than last week: a win and we get it. I mean, we can lose and get in with a loss by Detroit against Los Angeles, but why not just take care of it ourselves. We're still in Oklahoma City for this one, as we welcome the Havana Cubans to town. The Cubans are eliminated from the playoffs, so are only looking to play spoiler in this one. We'll be in the alternate brown uniforms for this one for the final time this season. We're featuring relief pitcher Edwin Uceta for this one, who provided 3.1 innings of work and locked down 2 wins and a hold (look, it's easier not to think about the logistics) and struck out a pair. #WeAreOK

- Oklahoma City needed a win or a loss by Detroit to clinch the American League, and got both. They also are guaranteed to finish in the top two of the league.
- Arizona has also guaranteed a top two spot in the league, as they hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over Las Vegas.
- Speaking of Las Vegas, they needed a win or a tie over Oakland to clinch the National League, and they got the win.
- All three leagues have been clinched with 2 weeks to play.
- San Diego has clinched a playoff berth, becoming the 5th team guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.
- Minnesota is next on the list, a win over Toronto OR losses by Los Angeles against Havana, New York against Oakland, AND Boston against Carolina will get them into the playoffs.
- Oakland can also punch their ticket to the playoffs this week, but need a bit more help. They need to beat New York AND have Boston OR Los Angeles lose.
- Las Vegas cannot fall below the 5 seed, so will be between the 3 and 5 seeds.
- Detroit would need to win out and have Las Vegas lose out to claim the 3 seed, and cannot fall below the 6 seed.
- San Diego would need help from Detroit to get to the 3 seed, but mathematically can do it, but can also drop as low as the 7 seed.
- Minnesota can get as high as the 4 seed with help, but can also miss the playoffs entirely.
- Oakland, Los Angeles, New York, and Boston could all mathematically get as high as the 6 seed, but at least 1 of them will miss the playoffs.

We needed a win over Havana or a Detroit loss to Los Angeles to clinch the American League, and we got both. So I suppose it's time to design a pennant, right? Eh, back burner on that. Right now, it's time to head to Missouri to take on the Colts in Kansas City. A win locks up the top seed throughout the playoffs, so that's the focus as we take the field in our khaki road uniforms. We're featuring outfielder Jurickson Profar, who last week went 9 for 25, with 5 singles, a double, 3 home runs, and 3 walks, stealing 4 bases, scoring 6 runs, and notching 13 RBI. #WeAreOK

The Turtles would not play spoiler against us, as we easily took care of business and guaranteed ourselves a top two finish in the AltLB. We're not going to slow down any time soon, as now we play our final road game of the year against CL rival San Diego. Featured for this week is veteran 1B Freddie Freeman, who hit 10/27 for 3 home runs, 6 RBI's, 3 walks and a stolen base. #Thunderstruck

A win over the Squirrels means the Atoms have earned the season sweep over Oakland. It also means that, although it looked a little different this year, Las Vegas has clinched the National League title for the fourth consecutive year. We still have work to do, of course, as playoff seeding is still very much up in the air, and we'll want to lock down a home game in round 01. Speaking of which, our last road game of the regular season is this week, and we visit the Pope's hometown of Chicago to take on the Pros. For some reason, it feels appropriate that we're featuring RP Brad Keller while we're in Chicago; Keller hurled 03 2/3 innings, struck out 04, and picked up a win and three holds last week. #GoldBars
