The Thunderbirds cruised to victory against the Cubans, and now we travel over 1600 miles to the north to play Montreal for the second time in 3 weeks. The Saints have yet to find their first win on the year, and we certainly don't want it to be us. Featured for this week is SP George Kirby, who after a rough start to the year coming off the IL got back to his regular form, striking out 14 over 7 innings to hang on for the quality start and a win. #Thunderstruck

We went to Tennessee, got some pretty good barbeque, and picked up win number eleven on the season. We get to head back to Oklahoma City for this one, as we welcome our first Canadian opponent of the season to Bricktown. The Bison may have some new injuries, and are going to add Kodai Senga and Jackson Merrill to the IL, but we're hoping Jackson is able to work through his concussion and join us over the weekend and that Nathan Eovaldi is able to come back over the weekend. We're going to be in the brown alternates for this one, and are highlighting pitcher acquisition Shane Baz, who went 12 innings against the Kings, striking out 11 while only allowing 3 earned runs to lock down a win and a quality start. #WeAreOK

The Thunderbirds easily dispatched the Saints for the second time this year. And luckily for us the Pandas lost to former league rival Minnesota, meaning we hold a 1 game advantage over them in the CL. We return home after a length (distance-wise) road trip, and we will host the Boston Masons, who are surprisingly in the lead in the NL. It's also our first home game in June, which means it's Pride Night at Gila River Park, where both teams will wear special logos and 50% of our raffle winnings will go towards protecting LGBTQ+ causes. Featured for this week is OF Ian Happ, who may have only gotten 6 hits last week, but hit for 3 home runs, 6 RBI's and drew 5 walks against Montreal. #Thunderstruck

The Atoms got back on track with a big win over the Turtles as we continue to alternate road wins and home losses. We'll look to break that trend this week, as we return home to face the surprisingly hot Pandas. Pandiego is coming off a very close loss to Minnesota, just their second of the year, and they'll want to avoid kicking off a losing streak. On the other hand, it'd be nice to win a game in front of our home fans, which we haven't done since week 04. In a huge blow for nominative determinism, SP Dylan Cease (and his fantastic mustache) got our momentum going against Tampa Bay, hurling 07 innings, striking out 11, and picking up the win and a quality start. #GoldBars

The Bison kept rumbling through the season, knocking off the Talons in a surprisingly close game based on the two team's records. No time to rest though, as we head off to the Pacific Coast to take on the San Diego Pandas. The Pandas are coming off a tough loss to the Atoms last week, dropping them multiple games back in the Continental League, so we need to come out firing on all cylinders. The good news for the Bison? We're projected to get pitchers Nathan Eovaldi and Max Scherzer back this week, getting us that much closer to full strength. We're on the road, so we'll be in the standard khakis for this one, and are featuring catcher Logan O'Hoppe, who went 5 for 19 at the plate, grabbing a single, a double, and 3 home runs, leading to 4 runs and 6 RBI in the matchup. And he added a pair of walks. Just for funsies. #WeAreOK

Despite some late struggles from our pitching staff making things a little bit closer than they needed to be, the Atoms hung on to beat the Pandas. With the Masons losing to Arizona, we've moved back into a tie with them for the NL lead. Next up, we head south and west to visit the other SoCal team. The LA Condors have been playing some great baseball, and are coming off a couple of big wins themselves. Hopefully, we'll keep getting production from 2B/SS Xavier Edwards. The reigning World Series MVP was a force to be reckoned with in the leadoff spot, going 05-17 with 02 walks and swiping 03 bases. #GoldBars

After both teams decided not to play baseball for the first half of the week, our pitching finally got going and handed the Masons the loss and their lone share of the NL lead. Thanks to a definitely determined agreement when we beat the Atoms this year, they gave handed the Pandas another loss and gave us a 2 game cushion for the CL lead. We stay at home to face our AL replacement in the Kansas City Colts. The Colts were nearly a playoff team last year, but have yet to get things going this year and are 2 games back on a playoff spot. Featured for this week is Will Smith (catcher), who hit 8/18 for 3 home runs, 4 RBI's and 2 walks against the Masons. #Thunderstruck
