Can't imagine many fans from Shreveport showing up in this scenario.

Most Would, Especially if you're offering free shuttles to Texans Home Games.  Others would rather have their own team like the Pirates

Just did the math, with no traffic, its just short of four hours.Unless they only have later games it seems unlikely many would make the trip, especially to support a Houston team. Not saying no one, Im sure some people will avail themselves of the shuttle, but Im not seeing many fans making the trip.

Love the Fire's look btw.

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Gator Bowl will once again see professional football action, as the World Football League announced today that the Jacksonville Sharks would return for the 1975 season. The Sharks were a troubled franchise in 1974, folding partway through the season alongside the Detroit Wheels. The team won just four of the 14 games it played, but Supernova Corporation, the new owners of the WFL, believe the city has potential and has revived the Sharks.

The Sharks have not changed their look. They are the only team to wear metallic silver helmets, much like the NFL's Oakland Raiders.

As mentioned previously, Jacksonville will play in the Gator Bowl. Leading the team is QB Reggie Oliver, and on defense is CB Alvin Wyatt, who coincidentally played for the Raiders before leaving for the WFL.

Re: The World Football League Lives! (All 12 Teams Revealed)

SAN ANTONIO, TX - The World Football League has announced its 12th and final team of the 1975 season. In a press conference today in San Antonio, Commissioner Gary Davidson revealed that the San Antonio Wings would be taking flight in the coming spring. The Wings take the place of the Detroit Wheels of the 1974 season, who folded partway through their campaign. "We looked into options in Michigan, but unfortunately nothing was doable," explained WFL owner Alex Ryder. "Luckily, San Antonio was very willing to work with us and I think they're just as excited as we are to have pro football here."

The Wings use colors of blue and silver, with a logo in the shape of a football with wings on the side, creating a "W" in between the top and bottom halves. This wing icon is placed on the front of the helmets, while the jerseys have decorative stripes in alternating white and silver on the blue jersey, and blue and silver on the white jersey.
(Author's Note: Again, the substitution of blue is historical accuracy! For some reason, despite using the same shade of blue as the Bell, the Wings went with royal blue jerseys, and made everything else match. Strange, huh?)

The Wings will play at Alamo Stadium, north of the city. The team has acquired San Antonio native RB Jim Strong, who rushed for 4 and caught 2 touchdowns playing for the Florida Blazers last season. On defense is NFL vet LB Lonnie Warwick, who played 8 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and 2 with the Atlanta Falcons before jumping to the WFL.

Like all the looks, but I think Sharks or Wings will be my team.
