Another week, another dominant win for the Atoms, as we had the largest margin of victory in the league this week. A lot of that credit goes to our offense, led by 3B Eugenio Suárez and his four home runs in four consecutive plate appearances, but a lot of it also goes to our pitching, as SP Tarik Skubal followed up a strong performance against Havana with another strong performance against Montréal. The reigning NL Cy Young winner pitched six scoreless innings and struck out 10 Saints to pick up the win in this one. He'll look to continue this performance into our next game, as we head out to Raleigh to face the Griffins. #GoldBars

That was a successful three game homestand, as we knock off the Thunderbirds to remove them from the ranks of the undefeated teams. Our reward? A road trip to Boston to take on the undefeated Masons. We look to knock off undefeated teams in back to back weeks as we look to make sure we stay tied with the Deacons for the top spot in the American League early in the season. We'll be in the standard road khaki uniforms this week. Our pitching has been very banged up so far, but that hasn't stopped Hunter Brown from being an absolute ace, as he logged 13 innings, allowing only 1 earned run while striking out 18, good for 2 wins and 2 quality starts. #WeAreOK

The Bison continue to be our kryptonite, as we blew a lead late and now are sitting second in the CL. It's still early in the season, so we'll have a chance to rebound on the road against fellow bird team in the Oakland Squirrels. They had an incredibly rough start to the year but are now finding some footing as a competitive team. Coming out of the bullpen and featured for this week is reliever Cade Smith, who notched 3 saves in 3 appearances for the T-Birds. #Thunderstruck

After heading to Boston and knocking off an undefeated team for the second time in as many weeks, we head back to OKC to take on former AL rivals, the Tampa Bay Turtles. The Turtles are looking to get back to .500, so we'll be looking to keep the hot bats going. However, last week we saw a gem on the mound from Jacob deGrom, who went 11 innings, striking out 10 to notch 2 wins and a quality start while only allowing 1 earned run. #WeAreOK

We took care of business against the Squirrels and still reign as the best bird team in the majors. We return home for another pivotal matchup, this time hosting the defending champion Las Vegas Atoms. Both teams are trying to stay on top of their leagues, so this game will be another one to look out for. Featured for this week is 1B Freddie Freeman, who hit 10/21 last week for 2 doubles, 2 HR's, 7 RBI's, and 5 walks. #Thunderstruck

The Griffins put up a good fight, but the Atoms outlasted them to remain undefeated on the season. We stay on the road this week, but are much closer to home, as the top team in the NL faces the top team in the CL, the Arizona Thunderbirds. With all the bright colors in this matchup, it'll be a standard white-versus-gray affair, but it should be a riveting game nonetheless. Pacing the Atoms in Carolina last week was OF Luis Robert Jr., who hit 08/21 with a pair of homers and 05 - count 'em, 05 - stolen bases. #GoldBars

Well, the Atoms had a good game, but the Thunderbirds had a better one, and thanks to a late collapse by our bullpen, Vegas took its first loss of the season. We close out our road trip this week by making our only visit to Canada in the regular season, as we face off against the Toronto Talons. For the first time this season, we're spotlighting a player who's new to the team this year. SP Michael Wacha didn't get off to a great start to his 2025, but he has been incredible as of late. Wacha held Arizona to just 03 hits and 01 walk while striking out 05 over 07 shutout innings. #GoldBars

It was an incredibly tight back-and-forth affair, but we managed to pull away with our hitters and the Atoms bullpen hitting the self-destruct button late in the week. We're still tied at the top of the CL with the Pandas, and we're hitting the road to face another challenger in the Blackbirds for the division lead. Highlighted for this week is P Matthew Boyd, who made two starts against the Atoms, totaling 15 K's for 2 qualities starts and a win. #Thunderstruck

Six weeks down, six victories for the Bison. So far this season, we have faced three teams that came into the game without a loss. For the fourth, and hopefully final time, we will face a team without a loss coming into the game. This time it's a showdown with the only other undefeated team, the Detroit Deacons, for the top spot in the American League. We'll be in the standard home cream uniforms for this one, and feature our top free agent from this off-season's free agency draft, Nathan Eovaldi, who fired off 13 innings, with 14 strikeouts and only 1 earned run allowed, netting a pair of quality starts and a pair of wins. #WeAreOK
