After a disappointing finish in Week 2 against Toronto, Edmonton rebounded in Week 3 by trouncing the defending champs in their own building. As we look to continue that momentum, we stay on the road this week, but are much closer to home as we prepare for the Battle of Alberta in Calgary. The Wranglers are always a tough opponent, but we always seem to play them pretty well, so it should be a good one regardless. Leading the charge is the first-ever Wildcat in history, D Victor Hedman, whom we traded to Boston and then back. Hedman scored twice, assisted twice, and blocked a whopping 11 shots against Montréal. #WhatTeam #ClawsUp

Well, we played a good game, but not good enough to knock off the Auroras. We'll look to get back in the win column as we head back to Milwaukee to host the Bighorns. We'll be in the alternate browns this week for the first time. Our featured player this week is winger Jesper Bratt, who had a goal, 4 assists, 2 power play points, 8 hits, and 3 blocks. #ThePeoplesTeam

After a dominant win over the Chevs, the Wildcats followed it up with another dominant performance in the Battle of Alberta to move to 3-1, and with losses by Toronto and Winnipeg, have moved back into the top spot in the overall standings. Hopefully this time, we can hang onto that spot for more than one game. This week, we finish off a 3-game Canadian road trip by flying all the way back across the country and into Atlantic time, where the Halifax Kingfishers once again await. This was a tough game to kick off the season, and we can expect it to be just as tough again. For this one, we're giving the game puck to W Nikolaj Ehlers, who scored 4 goals and 3 assists on the week, with 3 goals and an assist coming on Friday alone. #WhatTeam #ClawsUp

A solid week, as we scored plenty of points, but not as many as the Bighorns, dropping us to 2-2 on the season. We remain here in Milwaukee and welcome the Auroras to Manpower Arena for our second game against them. We dropped the first against them, so this one is important. We'll be in the standard gold homes for this, and are featuring last week's top performer, center Mark Scheifele. Scheifele had 2 goals, 4 assists, a +4 on the week, 2 Power Play Points, and 3 Hits last week. #ThePeoplesTeam

The Wildcats have put together a bit of a winning streak here, going 3-0 on our first road trip and defeating the Halifax Kingfishers for the second time this year. Not only that, but every other 3-1 team lost this week, making Edmonton the only 4-win team in the AltHL. Next up, we finally return back home, and we finally face an American team, as the Chicago Ghosts come to town. Chicago have struggled out of the gate, slipping to 1-4, so we'll expect a fight from them. Leading our end of the fight will be winger Seth Jarvis, who played a strong all-around game against Halifax, finishing with a goal, two assists, six hits, and four blocks. just kidding! Jarvis is hurt and will not feature against Chicago, so instead we're spotlighting his fellow winger Matthew Knies, who we appropriately acquired in a trade with the Ghosts this offseason. Knies had a very similar statline as Jarvis, with a goal and two assists (all on the power play) plus seven hits and two blocks. #WhatTeam #ClawsUp

With a win over Alaska to split the season series, the 48ers moved to 3-2 on the season, and, if the season ended today, would put us in the playoffs as the American Conference champions. However, there's still 17 weeks until the playoffs, so it doesn't mean anything. This week we head to Boston to take on the Rovers, who are also 3-2. The big difference is that Boston is 13th in the league in scoring, whereas we're 2nd in the league. We're not taking anything for granted however, as we will be in the ivory road set for this one. Our featured player is winger Stefan Noesen, who has been a great addition to our forwards since we picked him up. #ThePeoplesTeam

Chicago kept it close, but the Wildcats held on to get the win and hang onto the number one spot in the standings. We've still got several teams breathing down our neck, so we'll have to stay on our game. Our next stop is Minnesota, who are one of those teams just one win behind us at 4-2. To keep our foot on the gas, we'll turn to W Jake Guentzel, who scored two goals and two assists to go along with two blocks, finishing the week with a +3. #WhatTeam #ClawsUp

We knocked off Boston, which keeps us in the top spot in the American Conference (thanks tiebreakers!) as we head to Chicago to take on the Ghosts. So far, we've only been able to beat them when we set the single game scoring record, so we're looking to either a) break that record and keep that streak going, or b) beat them without breaking the record. Either one works for us. As we're on the road for this one, we'll be in the standard road ivory set. We'll be highlighting star center Nico Hischier. #ThePeoplesTeam
