Traditional look as always for The Commonwealth against conference foe Ohio A&M. Need to put together a run to join the playoff chase.
Additionally, PCU will always be known as the Big Blue but we are starting the process of finding a nickname for our athletic programs. Welcome to ideas for this extremely old, Benjamin Franklin founded university.

Following Week 7, three teams are officially bowl eligible:
Hawaii State Hawks
Hallows Headless Horsemen
Hershey Wildcats
That's correct, the three teams that are bowl eligible are the three teams that start with H. One team can qualify this week:
Johns Island Angels
They would need to simply defeat St. Brendan's who is currently undefeated in ECC play.

With the Hawks win over the Lakers in Minnesota, we next head to Wichita, Kansas to play the 29ers. Wichita A&M has been a thorn in the side of the Hawks (and weirdly enough, also the Wisconsin State Wolfpack and Florida Panhandle Jellyfish) and we're looking to notch a big win this week. With Lone Star, Michigan Institutional and Minnesota A&M a game back in the conference standings, and two of those teams playing, we're looking to get some separation before bowl season. We'll be in the all white look, as usual, for this road game in what is forecasted to be a beautiful mid-70s day with plenty of sunshine. Our featured player is running back Micah Bernard, who has stepped up to be the top back for the Hawks this season and coming off a day where he had 129 yards on the ground, another 61 through the air, and a touchdown to top it all off. #FlyingHI

After a tough loss to Hershey, dropping us to 3-4 on the season and 1-2 in conference play, we’re ready to bounce back as we stay home to face the other Pennsylvania squad, namely Penn Commonwealth. This week, the Patriotes will bring out their Patriot Red uniforms, sporting red helmets, red jerseys, red pants, and navy socks as we aim to get back on track. Our featured player is tight end Jake Briningstool, who had a standout performance last week with 104 receiving yards and a touchdown. #RenaissancePatriote

Lone Star had our number, handing us a loss and putting us in a rough spot to gain bowl eligibility. We need to win two out of the next three games to get to .500 and make another bowl without any extra shenanigans like last year. We'll start our final run on the road against Twin Cities, who even though they're winless on the year doesn't mean they won't be easy. Featured for this week is senior QB Hajj-Malik Williams, who threw for 233 yards and 3 TD's as well as putting 65 yards on the ground. #BringTheBoom

For the second straight week, Johns Island's defense couldn't weather the storm faced by a high-powered offense, and we fall to 1-2 in ECC play. We'll look to get back to .500 in the very first intraconference Holy War, as we're shipping up to Boston to play St. Brendan's. The Navs stumbled out of the gate, going 1-3 against the HAC, but have won their first three conference games to give themselves a real shot at contending for the postseason. To stop our losing streak, we'll turn to RB Braedon Sloan, who picked up 97 all-purpose yards and scored twice against Hallows. #GoldLeaf

Following week 8, we have four teams that have reached the 6 win threshold and have guaranteed themselves a bowl game: the Hawaii State Hawks, the Hallows Headless Horsemen, the Hershey Wildcats, and the Johns Island Angels.
Two teams have clinched spots in the playoffs, the Hawaii State Hawks and the Hallows Headless Horsemen.
Only one team is completely eliminated, with the inability to move into the top 8 and an inability to move into a top two spot in their conference, that being the Ohio A&M Fightin' Muskrats.

After a tough loss to Penn Commonwealth, we’ve dropped to 3-5 on the season (1-3 in ECC play). Now, we hit the road to face a formidable opponent in the 7-1 Hallows Headless Horsemen. It’s going to be a battle, but we’ll be ready in our standard away set—navy helmet, white jerseys, white pants, and navy socks. Once again, our featured player is running back Kaleb Johnson, who put up 98 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, and 49 receiving yards in last week’s effort. #RenaissancePatriote

The Hawks went to Kansas last week and knocked off the 29ers from Wichita A&M to move to 8-0 on the season. We're back in Honolulu for this one as we face our only opponent in the regular season from Canada, Riel. The Rebels are coming in at 3-5 and need to win out to get a bowl game, so we know they'll be hungry for a win in this one. We'll be in the all white look, as usual, with the white helmet, white jersey, and white pants. Meanwhile, our featured player for this week is freshman running back Caden Durham, who had 108 total yards and three touchdowns last week. #FlyingHI

Embarrassingly, we gave Twin Cities their first win on the year, as hopes of winning the HAC fade out of view. There's still a slim chance we'll become bowl eligible, but we have to face a gauntlet to end out the year. First up is a road match against Michigan Institutional, who are trying to keep up with Hawaii State for the title. Featured for this week is junior RB Jaden Nixon, who carried our lackluster offense for 129 yards on the ground and 3 TD's. #BringTheBoom
