After a rough loss in Portland, dropping us to 0-5, the Destroyers are back home for Week 6, ready to take on the Boston Nightriders, who aren't faring much better with a three-game losing streak of their own. After a tough home loss to Boston kept us winless at 0-6, the road ahead doesn't get any easier as San Diego travels to face the 4-2 New York Emperors at the Polo Grounds. An excellent game from both Caleb Williams and David Montgomery put us ahead enough of the Brawlers to give us our first-ever win over them in the modern era. We stand at 4-2 on the year as our gauntlet against teams from the East continue, hitting the road to play the Nightriders. They're in a similar boat to us, going through a rebuild and may possibly be good depending on the week.
