*In a year of broken records, Las Vegas' 1B Tony Puebla hit his 600th career home run in front of a roaring crowd at T-Mobile Arena, much to the chagrin of Breakers fans everywhere.

2029 ALL-STAR WEEKEND
The 2029 All-Star Game and Home Run Derby were held at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
*Portland 1B Alex Ochoa narrowly defeated Calgary 1B Mario Borras in the final round of the Home Run Derby, winning by a single run, 9-8.
*Once again, the Western Conference prevailed in the All-Star Game, and once again, LF Efrain Suazo of the losing team was named All-Star Game MVP.

*Quite a few teams fired and replaced their GMs: San Jose swapped Stuart Scarbrough for Gary Golembiewski, Toronto has swapped Don Appleby for Andy Tungett, and Atlanta swapped Micheal Howell for Sean Stroud.
*Toronto also went to the extent of firing their manager Paul Luzon, with Gil Nunez taking his place.
