Just think the Tennessee Titans existing might set people off of it, but I think it’s fitting. The city is the largest of the west and the most powerful when it comes to influence. I like it and I am all for it if it breaks no rules.

Olympians of Los Angeles would have been cool, no doubt! Anyway, as for division names in my format, let's go with Coastal, West, North, and East, and rename the conferences to Pacific and Atlantic.

Welcome to Group B!
Group A which featured Boston, Calgary, LA, and Montreal has produced some very interesting names. In just one day we have a good amount of engagement on all four of our polls. Group A voting will close on Friday and the names will be unveiled over the weekend. As for now we move on to Group B. The naming submissions will once again be open until Friday as well.
Welcome to Group B!
Remember when naming the teams you can choose different geographic locators. For example for the Bay Area you can choose San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, etc. For Minneapolis you can choose Minnesota if you wish. Let the naming begin!

Toronto Giants - Because of Toronto being the biggest city in Canada.
Minnesota Berserkers - Minnesota has a huge Scandinavian population (thus the name for the Vikings) so I decided to keep that theme, Berserkers were feared Viking Warriors.
Philadelphia Liberty - Named after the Liberty Bell in Philly.
San Francisco Phoenix - The flag of San Francisco has a Phoenix on it.

Minnesota - Magicians, the Minneapolis Miracle, the Minnesota Miracle Man, a lot of references to magic in sports lore comes from the state of Minnesota
Toronto - Metros, the Toronto area is a mecca for all things Canada, and was the first true metropolis area in all of Canada
Philadelphia - Liberty, the Liberty Bell and it’s cracked glory, plus all of the historic events in American history to involve the city
Bay Area - San Francisco Jailbirds, the Alcatraz prison is a a famous landmark in the city, and also to pay homage to the amount of seagulls in the city (also, seeing a seagull in prison garb would be cool and funny)

Minnesota Monarchs - Another version of Royals. Depends on the Montreal vote though.
Toronto Lakers - Most businesses were developed using shipping over the Great Lakes through Toronto. The lakeshore is still a massive piece of the city.
Philadelphia Americans - To play off the Liberty/Liberty Bell.
Bay City Renegades - If we don't name this team after the greatest duo in TV history, Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey, the Rush Hour Renegades ... then we have failed.
