Re: The AltHL Season 2023

Well, that was a thorough beatdown from the Wranglers, as we couldn't stop them from scoring points. We're at home again for this one, as we welcome the Bighorns to Milwaukee for game two of our three game homestand. We look to bounce back and break out the alternate gold uniforms for the final time this season. We're highlighting goalie Alex Nedeljkovic for this one, as he's been able to solidify the crease for us a bit. #MilwaukeesFinest

Re: The AltHL Season 2023

It must be goalie week here in the AltHL, as Wildcats rookie tender Samuel Ersson posted 52 saves and a shutout in a win over the Charlotte Racers. We now get to head back home for a divisional matchup with the Owls. We were able to beat them on the road earlier this season, so they'll be looking for revenge, while we'll be looking to lock up an important divisional sweep and keep pace with the rest of the pack. After an unusual alternate look last week, we're back in the standard blues from head to toe.

Re: The AltHL Season 2023

With a tough loss to the visiting Bighorns, as we drop to 5-10 on the season. We now look to close out our three game homestand with a visit from the Sawblades. We were to Portland and nabbed a win in the first matchup, so we're looking to complete the sweep in Manpower Arena. We're going to be in the standard brown uniforms for this one, as we highlight winger Rickard Rakell! #MilwaukeesFinest

Re: The AltHL Season 2023

The Wildcats put up a good fight against Québec, but as we always seem to do, fall just short, dropping to 6-9. Nice. With just seven games left in the regular season, the playoffs are still within reach, but we'll pretty much need to avoid missteps from here on out. A loss this week would be an extremely large misstep, as we face off against the worst team in the league, the 2-13 Toronto Terriers, so we'll hope to come out with a win once Sunday rolls around. Featured this week is C Joel Eriksson Ek, who dragged the Cats kicking and screaming to within 6 points of the Owls, finishing with 4 goals and 4 assists.

Re: The AltHL Season 2023

With an easy (albeit a little scary for a hot second) win over the Toronto Terriers, the Wildcats have moved within just one game of the playoffs. We're also one game behind our opponents this week, the Boston Rovers. The Boys in Green put up a strong performance last week but fell to the juggernaut that is the Montréal Chevaliers, so they'll be hungry to come into Edmonton and spoil the end of our three-game homestand. With two assists and a very solid +3 on the week, C/W Jonathan Drouin earned himself the first star last week.

Re: The AltHL Season 2023

Well, the Sawblades did what they've been doing and scored a lot. We did not score as much, and took another loss on the season. We're going to keep fighting on the season, and head to Chicago to take on the rival Ghosts. We're going to be in the standard road uniforms, rocking out the ivory set. Our featured player this week is blueliner Brandon Carlo. #MilwaukeesFinest

Re: The AltHL Season 2023

Another week, another loss. We're not technically eliminated from the playoffs, but we need a lot of help to get there. This week, we head to Racer country to take on Charlotte. We're looking at everyone on the roster for who can help us next year, but we're by no means rolling over on this season. We'll be in the standard road Ivory set in this one, and we're highlighting Mathieu Joseph for this one! #MilwaukeesFinest

Re: The AltHL Season 2023

You know, you'd think They would have gotten tired of doing the same shtick over and over again, but I guess They really like to play the hits. The Wildcats have blown another late lead, and now once again sit two games out of a playoff spot. Fortunately, this week we play one of the few teams lower in the standings than we are: the Denver Bighorns. A win for the Cats would put us one step closer to our first-ever playoff spot, but the Bighorns will be looking to rebound just as much as we are. We'll be breaking out a slightly-unusual combination this week, pairing the yellow helmets with the white road set, but it got us a win last time. Modeling the look will be D-man Samuel Girard, who had two goals and an assist last week to go along with an astonishing 11 blocks.

Re: The AltHL Season 2023

I have good news and bad news. The good news is the Wildcats beat the Bighorns. The bad news is we're still only 8-10 on the season. The good news is we're only two spots behind the eighth place team in the standings. The bad news is we're still two games behind them as well. The good news is there are plenty of teams at 10-8, so we have lots of different ways to get help. The bad news is there are only four games left in the season. The good news is we have players like C/W Wyatt Johnston, who scored 2 goals and 3 assists against Denver. The bad news is we have to play Minnesota, who are in almost the exact same position we are, and whoever loses this game is going to have a very hard time climbing out of that hole. The good news is that that should make for an exciting game. The bad news is that I don't have anything else to say, so I have to stop writing and just show you the graphic I made.
