Re: The AltCAA Season 2023
The Stegos and Panthers fought tooth and nail last week, but the Panthers came out on top as the 19th highest scoring team last week. We were 20th. To avoid starting 0-3, we'll have to travel across the continent to face St. Laurent north of the border. Although not playing this week, our featured player is junior WR Dorian Singer, who has emerged as our top wideout so far. We'll be wearing the typical road setup of purple-white-purple-green. #BringTheBoom

The Rebels brought home the big win on home field in the Canadian battle with St. Laurent. This week, we welcome the Stingers from the Queen City (well one of them anyway). The Jellyfish couldn't nab a win against the 29ers last week, so this week we'll remain on the road, and head to Minnesota to take on the Threshers. MAM is coming in undefeated, so we look to put a 1 in their loss column. We highlight star running back Rasheen Ali this week. We're going to wear the standard homes in this one, the sapphire helmet, the sapphire jersey, and the mint pants. #UnderTheSea
Hawaii State keeps their undefeated season rolling as the only team outside the Heartland at 3-0. We're heading back to Oahu to the beach to host Penn Comm. We're looking to move to 4-0, and are going to rely on our stellar run game and our superb passing offense. Drake Maye needs to throw it to someone, and he's slinging it to number 1, top wide receiver Rome Odunze. We're wearing the white helmet, white jersey and white pants as usual when we're at home. #FlyingHI

We could not avoid going 0-3, as St. Laurent won the battle of the winless to get their first win of the year. We'll return home to Durango to potentially avoid dropping our first 4 of the year to welcome Hershey to the Kidd. The Wildcats are 1-2 and are also looking to rebound after a loss to Hawaii State. Our lone bright spot last week (well, besides QB Sam Hartman) was WR Lincoln Victor, who caught 2 TD's last week and reeled in 119 receiving yards in his first showing as a starter. We'll be wearing the standard home uniforms in a must-win matchup for both sides. #BringTheBoom

Well, we did it, boys. St. Laurent snuck past Southern Colorado to get our first win of the season, and now we look to getting to .500 as we head out to take on Yellowstone in Montana. For this game, we will be wearing our standard away set of Navy-White-White-Navy, and we highlight our running back, Braelon Allen, who got himself two rushing touchdowns last week along with 94 rushing yards and 5 receiving yards. #GoPatsGo

Back-to-back home wins has brought the Rebels' record to 2-1 on the season. Now, we head down to the south to take on UNF. A tough loss to Minnesota A&M brought the Angels down to 2-1, but we still have a share of the Southern V lead, as all teams sit at 0-0 within the conference. Wait that's not how we're doing conference standings this year? Well, anyway, this week we take on our final leg of the A&M gauntlet as the 29ers fly (get it?) into Charleston. Like MA&M, WA&M is sitting at 3-0, so we'll try to do what we failed to do last week and knock them out of the undefeated list. The man of the hour this week is our first new face, as junior WR Malik Nabers' 239 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns was, for what little it's worth, the week's top individual performance by a non-QB. #HeardOnHigh

The defending ECC Champion, Patriotes come to Paradise Valley to lock antlers with the Moose. For the first time the Moose are going with an all black look. 
The Big Blue are 1-2 but somehow are in a tight race for the ECC. It doesn't get easier as we head to Hawaii to try and hand the Hawks their first loss. All blues for the occasion.

Well that was a disappointing week. The Jellies put up a bunch of points, and would've come away with a win against many other teams, but not the team we were playing, and drop to 2-2. What can we do about that? Head out on the road to Canada and face St. Laurent. The Patriotes are also 2-2, and both teams are looking to stay in the hunt for their conference. We're wearing the sapphire helmets, white jerseys, and mint pants on the road, as usual, as wide receiver Caullin Lacy is looking to keep up the production. #UnderTheSea
The Big Blue came into Honolulu and slowed up everyone on the team to hand us our first loss of the season. We're going to have to head on the road now, as Twin Cities plays host to the Hawks. The Lakers aren't seeing a lot of success on the gridiron this season, but we're making sure not to overlook them as we look to get our players back on track. We're going to wear the standard jerseys on the road with the white helmet, white jerseys, and white pants. Our featured player this week is the man under center this week, quarterback Drew Allar! #FlyingHI
