Well, the Bison went on the road to Phoenix and knocked off the Thunderbirds convincingly. With three weeks to play, we're working on locking up the top spot in the AL. We have three games on the Turtles, but have outscored them on the season by over 400 points so far, so we have a strong chance to ensure we finish above them. The important result in winning the AL would be if we beat the Squirrels and the Thunderbirds lose to the Saints, we will clinch the AL this week. So we're going to head out to Oakland to do our part in that by trying to get that big win, which coincidentally could doom the Squirrels playoff hopes. We're going to wear our standard road uniforms in this one, as we put the highlight this week on SPRP Logan Allen!

Well, that did not go like we had wanted to. Instead of a closely-fought matched between us and the Bison, our offense failed to show up and the Bison knocked our socks off. We still have a chance to clinch the AL pennant, but a couple of things need to go our way. To start, we'll need to rebound at home against the Montreal Saints. 2B/SS Matt McLain has provided a great boost to our hitting core since his call-up in May, and will hopefully continue to do so for the rest of the season. We will be back in our standard home uniforms, and this week's Arizona location is the quaint town of Pinetop-Lakeside, a cool place up north to cool down after a hot streak. #Thunderstruck

No change. Some of the differences are different, but not enough to shift the rankings.

So this week had a fun happening of a player making the team of the week with their second AltLB team this season. So, of course, it happened for three players. So shout out to Adam Duvall (Boston and Las Vegas), Marcell Ozuna (New York and Oklahoma City) and Graham Ashcraft (Oakland and Oklahoma City). And Mookie Betts has tied Shohei Ohtani on the season with his 6th appearance on the Team of the Week.

Following up a big win in Oakland, the Bison head back to Oklahoma City for their final regular season home game, as we are set to host the Havana Cubans at Cox Ballpark. We beat them back in week 4 in Cuba, but we're looking to grab the season sweep and lock up the AL, as a win or a Thunderbird loss will do it for us. We, of course, would prefer to win. So we're going to get the cream uniforms out again this week, and our featured player is Team of the Week member Graham Ashcraft. #WeAreOK

Well that was disappointing. We lost to the Colts, and we were only able to make a parallel move in terms of health, as while we were able to bring 2B Ozzie Albies back into the lineup, we lost All-Star closer Felix Bautista. We finish off the season on the road with two possible first round previews, starting with the Carolina Griffins, who are of course looking to snatch up the final remaining playoff spot. Getting the feature this week is another new face: OF Kerry Carpenter, who has been on fire since joining the team at the beginning of the week. #BetOnIt #UpAndAtom #LVvsCAR

Ah, that's more like it. After suffering our first defeat in nearly 10 weeks, the T-Birds bounced right back against Montreal to keep pace with the Bison. We continue our homestand by welcoming the Dertoit Deacons to town. With all 4 playoff spots in the AL secured, it's now down to seeding in the last few games. We may be playing the Deacons in the playoffs if things go right for them, so we will have to do our best to see if we can pull off the season sweep. P Javier Assad had two great starts last week, pitching for 12.1 innings while allowing 3 earned runs, striking 11 out on his way to earn a quality start and a win. We'll be wearing the alternate blues for the final time this regular season, while this week's natural landmark is "The Wave", a sandstone formation near the border with Utah known for its colorful landscape and difficult hike to get to it. #Thunderstruck

Sheesh. The Atoms trailed most of the week, but managed to make a big comeback and squeak out a win. We'll see them again in a week, as with a Squirrels loss, Oakland is eliminated from playoff contention. Speaking of which, we fly out to the Bay to finish off the regular season with a friendly against our favorite squirrelly bois. Leading our charge into the final game of the season is OF Adam Duvall, who has been absolutely on fire since coming to Vegas, hitting 03 dingers last week. #BetOnIt #UpAndAtom #LVvsOAK

Well, look at that. Another week down, another week with minimal changes to the power ranks.
