Coming off a convincing win over the Pros, we stay at home for the second game of our three game homestand. The degree of difficulty on this one is a bit higher, as we host the defending N.L. Champions and only undefeated team in the AltLB, the Las Vegas Atoms. They lead the league in scoring by a significant margin, so we're hoping our pitchers can slow them down and the hitters can keep hitting. We'll be wearing our standard home set with the cream jerseys for this one, and leading the way is infielder Isaac Parades! #WeAreOK

The Turtles have seemed to hit their stride. They ride a 6-game winning streak into Memphis to take on the Kings.

The Sandlot Series was a success, as we defeated our biggest rivals in the Condors to become the superior bird team in the AL. If we want to stay as a top team in the AL, we'll have to defeat a contender in the Detroit Deacons on the road. It may seem like a tall task, but a series of call-ups will help the T-Birds immensely. One of our two snubs from team of the week, SP Andrew Abbott struck out 10 across 2 starts while not allowing a single earned run, earning himself a spot in the rotation for the time being. We'll wear our sand roads in this potential playoff preview series. Cooling off from the Sandlot Series takes us to Fossil Creek in Coconino National Forest, a picturesque place to catch your breathe before tackling the trails to and from here. #Thunderstruck

After a bit of a scare against Carolina, the Atoms head back out on the road to the great state of Oklahoma to face the defending champs. The Bison may pose the biggest threat yet to our undefeated record, as we've yet to defeat them in the AltLB's modern era, but if we can pull that off, we'll have made it halfway through the season without losing a game. We'll continue to look toward Team of the Week-er SP Lucas Giolito, who struck out 15 Griffins while only giving up a single earned run. We'll also be wearing our gray jerseys against OKC for the first time. #BetOnIt #UpAndAtom #LVvsOKC

A big time match up in the American League this week as the T-Birds come to town.

As we reach the halfway point of the season, we aren't seeing a lot of movement. But despite their loss, the Atoms maintain the top spot.

The team of the week is quite the nifty thing. We now have our first player that has been on the team for four weeks, as Shohei Ohtani has claimed a spot as a hitter again this week. He's been on the team 4 times this season, but none of them as a pitcher.

The Bison seem to have found their stride, as they lead the league in scoring this week to hold off a very strong Atoms team to deal them their first loss of the season. We only needed to have the highest score of any 7 day week this season. We stay here in OKC for the final game of our 3 game homestand as we welcome the Los Angeles Condors to Cox Ballpark. We beat them in their park earlier this season, so we're looking to complete the season sweep and maintain our position near the top of the American League. We're going to wear the standard cream jerseys this week as we highlight outfielder Michael Harris II, who pulled in 47 points for the Bison last week. #WeAreOK

A statement win over the Deacons puts the T-Birds right back in contention for top team in the AL, with a dominating performance from our pitching core to silence their bats and a typical batting week from the hitters. Our road trip won't get any easier, as we head south to Tampa to challenge the Turtles for the #1 spot in the AL. One of those hitters last week was OF Taylor Ward, who made it home on all of his hits this week while also sending one out of the park and stealing a base to boot. We'll be staying with our roads this week, while featuring the beautiful Emerald Cove, a remote kayaking destination near Willow Beach. #Thunderstruck

Well, the roulette and/or baseball gods apparently decided that the Atoms were getting a little bit too lucky, because despite having one of our strongest weeks yet, the Bison continued to have our number and we took our first loss of the season. As a reward, we get to face another team that's currently near the top of the American League in the Detroit Deacons, although fortunately, we do get to return home after our quick jaunt out to OKC. Leading the charge to get back into the win column is switch-hitting 2B Ozzie Albies, whose 03-homer performance wasn't enough to carry the rest of the team last week. #BetOnIt #UpAndAtom #DETvsLV
