Brilliant work for the Sandlot Series! Both of these jerseys feel appropriately classic and I can see the imaginary progression from each to the teams' current sets. I particularly love the Angels-esque sleeve patch for the Condors. I just wish we could see caps to match. Nice work!

I love the looks both the Thunderbirds and Condors have for the Sandlot Series. Classic looks, and the Condors in red is great. Well done Dire on the design and presentation, and I'm sure Kingsfan's input was valued as well!

After a few big Sunday comebacks in recent weeks, the Turtles find themselves at the top of the American League. This week Tampa plays host to Montreal.Â

Well, we bottled that series. After a strong start, the T-Birds couldn't hold off the Turtles on a late scoring surge in the series, as we lost both the game and our lead in the AL. We're still in the playoff hunt for now, but this week will be the biggest all season. It's time to travel north to Payson for the Sandlot Series against our biggest rival, the Los Angeles Condors. The T-Birds had a pretty mid week last week, and our biggest contributor was relief pitcher Erik Swanson, gathering 3 saves and holds last week. He'll look to save this bird battle against LA as we rock our retro home uniforms for the first time in ages. #Thunderstruck #BirdBattle
And for those wondering what the sets look like, well here they are!

The Atoms kept rolling last week, albeit against a weaker opponent in Memphis. We finish off our homestand against a much stronger Carolina team that's currently vying for 02nd in the National League. The low numbers are hitting right now, as this week, we've landed on DH Luis Arraez. The reigning batting champ hit better than 0.500 against the Kings, going 12 for 23 with 07 RBI, leading the Atoms in both categories. #BetOnIt #UpAndAtom #CARvsLV

We made it through week 9, the Atoms are a couple games clear on everyone, are the only team that has been in the top half of the league in scoring every week, and are deserving of the top spot. The Thunderbirds are clinging to the second spot, just edging out the Turtles, based on the fact their actual record is two game below what's expected where the Turtles record is exactly as expected. A few teams moved up a single spot, and the Gemini dropped two spots (fitting). The Kings become the 4th team to fall into the 16th spot this season, and look to climb out with a strong showing this week against the Blackbirds.

The Team of the Week saw it's first players make the team for a third time, and two people did it this week with Starting Pitcher Zac Gallen of the Bison and Relief Pitcher David Bednar of the Colts. However, 7 of this week's team members are on the Team of the Week for a second time, Ryan McMahon, Corbin Carroll, Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Marcus Stroman, Nathan Eovaldi, and James Karinchak.

The Bison started the week strong and kept their foot on the gas to knock of their American League rivals from Los Angeles. The Condors filled three positions on the Team of the Week's infield, but didn't have enough from the rest of the team to pull out their win at home. We head back home now to start a three game homestand. We're opening it up with a home game against the Pros who are coming in on a 5 game losing streak. We know we're going to have to get after their star pitcher, Gerrit Cole, and limit the damage that superstar outfielder Mike Trout do, but we're swinging the bats well, and the pitchers are missing bats. We're featuring our star relief pitcher, who has been averaging over 20 points a week since joining the team, in Yennier Cano this week. We're breaking out the Fields of the Future jerseys from last season in this one, so you'll see us in the poppy reds if you come on down to Cox Ballpark!

Well, it was a pretty chalk week, with the teams we would've expected to win based on the Power Ranks winning, so not much change. Aside from the Masons jumping up 2 spots thanks to their offensive explosion. The Pros dropped a couple more spots. For those keeping score at home, the Pros started with 4 wins, but have since dropped 6 straight.

The Team of the Week saw four more players become three time members of the team, with Freddie Freeman, Corbin Carroll, Shohei Ohtani, and Alexis Diaz all grabbing their third spot. Also notable is Mookie Betts making it for the second consecutive week, so the Condors have him swinging a hot bat currently.
