Another convincing win against the Masons puts the Thunderbirds in sole possession of the American Lea- wait what do you mean we're still tied for first? What's Chicago doing here with us? Did they get the Cyclones' golden horseshoe? Well, anyway, the Thunderbirds go back on the road, this time heading to the land of blues, BBQ, and a giant pyramid to face the Memphis Kings. After tying for the most points last week, 2B/3B Max Muncy decided that he really wanted to smash the ball, hitting 5 home runs on 7 hits while driving in 7 runners and nabbing a bag along the way. We will be wearing our standard sand roads in hopes of extending our winning streak to 4. #Thunderstruck

With our fourth week done, the Power Ranks saw a bit of reorganization, but not a lot of big movers, seeing the Griffins move up two spots to be the big riser, with the Masons dropping two to be the big fallers. The Atoms become the second team to claim the top spot, having moved up one spot every week this season. Where will they go from here?

The Team of the Week has the anomaly of not having a repeat member for the first time this season, aside from week 1 for obvious reasons. Nine teams were represented this week, with Oklahoma City leading the way with three members on the team (Isaac Parades, Martin Perez, and Peter Strzelecki).

Bouncing back with a big win over the Havana Cubans and leading the league in scoring this week, the Bison head back home to Cox Ballpark to host the Boston Masons. The Bison pitchers are firing on all cylinders, with 4 of them over 30 points last week. Shown this week is star catcher, Willson Contreras!

Another week, another win for the Thunderbirds to bring their record to 4-0. Our pitching was the real hero this week, with ace Sonny Gray leading the way in a already stellar season with 2 starts this week, fanning 15 and allowing only a single earned run in those 2 starts. We will head back home to Gila River Park for our toughest matchup yet, facing the undefeated Chicago Pros in a battle for first place in the American League. It will be a tough contest against the upstart team, but we know it will sure be an entertaining series for our fans. Highlighted this week for this monumental series will be the ever-popular Monument Valley.
Wait, what's this?

Whew, that was close. The Atoms fell behind early against a surprisingly strong Colts team, but managed to put together a comeback thanks in large part to a stellar outing from Sunday pickup SP Josiah Gray. We're giving our feature this week to our other Team of the Week-er, SP Nathan Eovaldi, who finished a two-start week with a complete game shutout against - wait, who are the Yankees? Either way, that sounds pretty impressive. We conclude off our regular season series with the Blackbirds this week, and we'll look to finish the sweep, stay undefeated, and somehow move up to #00 in the power rankings next week. I think that sounds perfectly reasonable. #BetOnIt #UpAndAtom #LVvsNY

We beat Boston to move above .500. This week we take on the last undefeated team in the AL in the Thunderbirds. We're hoping we've turned a corner and can nab our third straight win. We're highlighting ace pitcher Zac Gallen this week, and we'll be wearing the creams. #WeAreOK
