It's opening Day at the Amp, and your Boston Masons are hoping to do far better than they did last year. The Masons will kick off the festivities on the Commons with a game against the Colts. The Thunderbirds dominated the Gemini last week, and now go on the road to the first-ever home game in Havana in the Modern Era. The Cubans are looking to win their first of the year after a road loss to the Pros, and Arizona looks to 2-0 to start the year off strong in a very tough American League. C Will Smith was our team's best player last week, slashing .357/.457/.786 with 3 home runs to boost an already hot start to the year. We will also be wearing our sand road set as we adjust to the Cuban sun and atmosphere. After a thorough beating from the Deacons, at home nonetheless, the Bison head out on the road to Kansas City to take on the Colts. We had a respectable week from a scoring side of things, so we need to step up the pitching and defense to keep the Colts off the board. We're going to wear the standard grays in this one, as we look to grab our first win of the campaign.
