Re: The AltHL Season 2022

Boston and Milwaukee hold onto the top spots. Minnesota joins them at three. Calgary, who two weeks ago was ranked 11th, takes the four-spot. Sorry, Steel, but the Fishers are at sixth, not fourth.

LL Cool J once said "Mama said knock you out", however, I didn't knock you out, you knocked yourself out by not picking as well as others. This week we came down to the tiebreaker again, so here's some standings.

5-4  DireBear
4-5  Kingsfan
6-3  Magic
4-5  Steelman

So the tiebreaker between Kingsfan and Steelman came down to who was closest to the Arrows high score of 174 points. Kingsfan predicted 153 points, Steelman predicted 159, so Steelman survives to see the top 3.

Thank you for participating Kingsfan!

Re: The AltHL Season 2022

With a hard fought win over the Edmonton Wildcats, the 48ers move to 6-1 on the season and have sole possession of first place in the Central. But it's a long season, and a small lead, so we need to keep skating hard and doing what we do best: hit people and block shots, work as a team and set up others. We head out on the road this week, as we head to Denver to face our division foes, the Bighorns. We're going to bring our standard road Ivory set to Denver, led by top scorer on the season, Nico Hischier!

Re: The AltHL Season 2022

With a tough loss against the Milwaukee 48ers, the Wildcats drop to 4-3 on the season and fall further behind in the race for the West. We head back to Edmonton for this week's game, where we'll have to slow down the East-leading Racers, and we're in the home blues once again. We'll hope to have a more well-rounded performance from our team than we had last week, but we certainly won't discourage W Jeff Skinner from scoring 4 goals and 3 assists again. #WhatTeam #EDMvsCLT

Re: The AltHL Season 2022

Well, that's fantastic. Winnipeg made me lose twice, on the ice and in the knockout. The Owls fall back under .500 with the enormous loss we suffered at the hands of the Arrows. No time to sulk as we stay home to welcome the Detroit Angels on their Quebec tour's second and last stop. Our big rival Montreal gave them a loss last week, and we must make sure that they leave the province of Quebec without a single win. We are again wearing our standard home set and must not repeat our errors from last week, and our defence, led by our featured player of the week, Kris Letang, must step up to stop the Angels. #RevengeOfTheHoot #QUEvsDET
