Coming off back-to-back home wins at Manpower Arena in Milwaukee, the 48ers are heading out to Seattle this week! That's nifty, team owner Dan O'Mac has the Emeralds at home there too! Looking to keep things rolling, the 48ers are going to be sporting their traditional road Ivory set this week. The Racers closed out a dominant win over the Shockers last week to stay undefeated so far and try to keep pace with Boston and Montreal in a very tough Eastern Conference. This week's heroes were Alex Tuch and Nathan Mackinnon, who both scored 20.5 points.
This week Charlotte looks to keep the streak going against our former Central Conference black-clad rivals, the Chicago Ghosts. The Ghosts are coming off a hard-fought win against the Owls so the Racers will have to be playing their best to keep up with the best of the best. #LightsOut

After our second loss in as many games at home, the Quebec Owls head on the road to Saskatoon to face the also-winless Shockers. The Owls will wear their standard away set in Saskatoon and our featured player of the week is Drake Batherson, our highest-scoring player last week with 26 points. #RevengeOfTheHoot

Coming off a big road win over Seattle, we head north of the border into Canada for the second leg of our four game road trip, as we head to Saskatoon to take on the Shockers. The 48ers led the league in scoring last week, and look to keep the hot shooting going and remain undefeated. We're going to wear the Ivory set on the road as normal, shown off by last game's top skater, Brandon Tanev!

Well, that was disappointing. The Wildcats got out to a big lead against the Loons, only to blow it over the second half of the week. We've fallen out of the West Division lead as well, but we'll get a shot to immediately get it right back as we travel to the roller rink down in Portland to take on the division-leading Sawblades. We'll break out the white jerseys once again, modelled by noted children's book author Zachary Hyman, whose five-goal performance last week was unfortunately in vain. #WhatTeam #EDMvsPOR

The Ghosts and Neal Pionk were too spooky for the Racers as we drop out first game of the year. However, the Rovers and Chevs also lost so we're still tied for the Eastern Conference lead.
We hit the road for the third straight week and head to Winnipeg to take on the Arrows. The only meeting of the Fly Guys this year will hopefully result in a win for the Queen City but Winnipeg is a tough team that's coming off a win over the Rovers. Charlotte will, of course, be wearing our road whites. #LightsOut

Well, we did it, boys! We went to Saskatoon and picked up our first win of the season. No time to celebrate as we come home to take on the Boston Rovers at Colisée Vidéotron. We will be wearing our traditional home set against the Boys in Green, and our featured player is our top scorer from last week, Brenden Dillon. #RevengeofTheHoot

Well, we're 4 weeks in, and 4 people are eliminated now. It was a close week, which saw three people tied at the bottom, so we had tiebreakers!

With the tiebreakers, it was who was closer to the high score of 155.4. DireBear had a guess of 155, and was safe. Dan was safe with 158.47. And Jam was eliminated with 159.4. Good job boys, we were all close, but some closer than others. Thank you for your participation Jam.
