Oh boy I love numbers! We have a new #1 team this week, with Wichita A&M falling to #5 after their loss to Wisconsin State. Minnesota A&M takes the new #1 spot, as the top 5 remains relatively unchanged though the teams did play musical chairs and swapped some spots. Speaking of Wisconsin State, they are the only new team in the top 10, replacing Hershey after the Wildcats faced a humiliating defeat against #3 Nouvelle France. With Yellowstone's win last week, they leave the basement but remain in the bottom 4. Taking their place is UC-Orange, who falls to last thanks to a less-than-stellar loss against Ohio A&M.

After a decent start to the season, the Stegos drop their 3rd straight game and now sit at 1-3 and bowl status in question. We're looking to rebound as we welcome Riel south of the border to Durango, and we're bringing out something special in order to help turn our season around. Junior RB Khalan Laborn will lead SoCo into the Kidd in our 1982 throwback uniforms, the ones the Stegos first wore when Southern Colorado University athletics officially became the Stegos. The throwback set includes purple helmets, green jerseys, and white pants.

Another week, another pair of losses for Charlotte and Calvert. Both teams take on conference opponents as the #16 Highlanders look for their first SV win against #13 UF-Orlando and the #4 Crusaders head to Boston to face #9 St. Brendon's. Charlotte will wear their normal home uniforms and Calvert will wear their gold uniforms. #EverUpward #DefendTheBay

After beating St. Brendan's last week to get back to .500, St. Laurent looks to go over .500 and closes out the first half of their schedule by heading out to Hershey to face off against the Wildcats. The Patriotes will certainly make Hershey see red as they bring their alternate set of the red helmet, red jersey, red pants and navy socks to Pennsylvania. Featured this week is running back Israel Abanikanda, who had an outstanding performance last week, getting 177 rushing yards along with four rushing touchdowns. #GoPatsGo #STLvsHC

After knocking off the #1 ranked Wichita A&M, the Rebels are gearing up for their first non-conference battle this week as they take on the Southern Colorado Stegos. TE Brayden Willis has been a surprise piece to the offence this season, so he gets the feature this week as we look to get above .500 for the first time this season. The jersey combo this week is the usual white on red, as we close out 4 of 5 on the road.

Well, it all comes down to this. I mean, I guess not all per se, but only two unbeaten teams remain, and they face off in Week 5. #8 Johns Island faces #3 Nouvelle France in a battle of the titans of the Southern V. The eyes of the college football universe will be in New Orleans this weekend, and the Angels will look to get a huge road win and be the only team to remain undefeated. We finish showing off our stellar wide receiver trio with Grant DuBose, who has been a consistent scoring threat this year. #JIUceIsForever

Week 5 is underway. Heads up to Johns Island and Nouvelle France - both of you can become bowl eligible this week with a victory.Â
For my teams we have two new helmets to reveal. For the Commonwealth is a gold look. On the field the Big Blue have rattled off back to back wins.Â
For the Mighty Moose, they are looking to get above .500 for the first time. To get the team over the hump the Moose will sport their black helmets and golden uniforms.Â

Coming off a big win over Minnesota A&M to move to 4-1 on the season and into a tie for first in the Heartland, the Wisconsin State Wolfpack return home to lay claim to Babe's Bell when UTC comes to Green Bay. With the Wolfpack winning the first matchup by 4.22 points, #DubState has the advantage in the Battle for the Bell. Featured this week for the Wolfpack is #1, wide receiver Rome Odunze!

Five. And. Oh. Do I really have to say any more?
Well I'm gonna do it anyway. The Johns Island Angels are the only remaining undefeated team in the nation. The Johns Island Angels are the first team to clinch bowl eligibility. The Johns Island Angels are probably going to be ranked seventh in the power rankings. That's fine, though, because (have I said this enough yet?) we're 5-0 and got the upper hand in the very important head-to-head with UNF. We're starting off the second leg of conference play by heading back home to host Bermuda, and we're breaking out the green-over-gold home set for the first time since week 1. RB Perris Jones gets the highlight this week, with four touchdowns on the season. #JIUceIsForever
