The Griffins picked up their first win of the season last week and they look to carry that momentum against the undefeated Thunderbirds.

And now, with our bright and shiny winning record, the Oklahoma Bison return home to Cox Ballpark. Welcome to Sonic Night with the Bison. We're celebrating local company and featured concessions from Sonic restaurants and the release of Sonic 2 in theaters. All attendees of the game get a commemorative Sonic the Hedgehog cup which allows $1 fill-ups of fountain soda at any Sonic location in the stadium until the final out of the game. Meanwhile, on the field, we break out the cream homes to host the Oakland Squirrels. We borrowed second baseman Javier Baez's jersey to show it off.

Well looky-here. Power Rankings for week 4. The top three were static, and the top 8 on the whole remained in the top 8 (just switching around the places). Montreal made the biggest jump, going from 21st up to 15th. Meanwhile, the Sidewinders took the biggest tumble, dropping from 12th to 19th. Chicago climbed out of the 24th spot, giving us the 4th different team in the last spot through 4 weeks.

Well, we had a first in Knockout this week! For the first time ever, someone was eliminated due to a tie! Well, it wasn't a loss, so out they go.
- Dan O'Mac made it through with the Talons loss to the Turtles.
- Darknes moved on due to the Squirrels loss in Oklahoma City to the Bison.
- JamHeronArk saw the Stags and the Keystones tie, eliminating Jam.
Now we head to week 5, and the last two get to MAKE YOUR PICK!

Squirrels: Get smacked in the mouth for the third time this year.
The experts: Yes, move them up to top 10 in the league!

Your team had good numbers, but the Bison's were just a touch better. So when I separate the stats from the matchups, your team looks really good.

Coming off a big win over the very huggable Squirrels, the Bison stay in OKC to take on our rivals from the south, the Dallas Sidewinders. We welcome them, grudgingly, for Robin Ventura bobblehead night! Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of our hitting coach's incredible 58-game hitting streak while solidifying himself as an Oklahoma baseball legend at Oklahoma State. Hopefully no one on the Sidewinders staff sees fit to put Robin in a headlock and repeatedly punch him in the head tonight. (looks at the program guide with Dallas Sidewinders manager Nolan Ryan on it knowingly). We're bringing out the alts for this one, as shown here with outfielder Ian Happ's jersey.

Having taken down the Dallas Sidewinders to move back to 0.500, the Las Vegas Atoms return home to take on ... the Saints? How did we move on to Level 02 of The Atoms vs. the Catholic Church when we lost in Level 01? Whatever. We're sticking with the bullpen this week, unless Garrett Whitlock is a starter now, in which case, we're not. As for what he - and the rest of the team - will be wearing, it was an easy decision: we're 02-00 in black. #UpAndAtom

Rinse, repeat. Both Dan O'Mac and Darknes advance to next week.
-Dan moves on with the Bats loss to the Squirrels.
-Darknes gets to move on with the Pros loss to the Keystones.
Make your picks, remaining people!

Power Rankings for Week 5, too! Bit of a shakeup across the board, but not at the top. The Tampa Bay Turtles are still your top team and continue to look strong. The Montreal Saints were the biggest upward mover for the second straight week. The Kings were the opposite, dropping 7 spots this week. And Toronto is the first team to repeat in the 24th spot, a dubious honor to say the least.
Notable Week 6 matchups:
- Detroit at Mexico City. Detroit has been a consistently good team all season, and Mexico City has either been inconsistent. If the Jaguars can repeat last week's performance, this could be really close.
- Oklahoma City at Portland. Both teams are coming off losses last week, with the Bison losing to rival Dallas at home, and the Stags getting upset by the Griffins on the road. However, both teams have been Power Ranked in the top 10 all season, so both are looking for a big bounce-back win.
