Happy Rivalry Week, Gang! This year was a major disappointment on multiple fronts, but if we pull our crap together, we could beat Buffalo on their home field! Wow! The Beavs will be wearing all white to try and give them an advantage in the snowy weather.

It's that time of year again, time for the ever so fierce rivalry between... Minnesota and Kentucky. We'll be playing for nothing but bragging rights, but the Voyageurs will look to end their season with a win over the Stallions. Minnesota will be wearing their traditional home set of Claret-Claret-Blue for their final home game of the 2021 AltFL Season.

And we head to the final week of the regular season, and YOUR New York Emperors will be shipping up to Boston to take on the Nightriders for Rivalry Week. And the stakes? The AltFL North Division Championship. The Emperors will be wearing their Crown Jewel set against the Nightriders Lantern set at Old North Field, shown off this week by our Week 13 hero, Gardner Minshew II.

It's rivalry week, and that means that the Cyclones are taking on their fiercest rival in Milwaukee in the Windy City. To honor this occasion, the Cyclones will be retiring the jersey for our only member in the AltFL Pantheon (so far), WR Randy Moss. Now, no one can ever get Moss'd by a Cyclones player wearing number 84. They can still get Moss'd but only in a different number. Chicago will wear their classic home set of white over red over tan as we prepare for the postseason.

The Galactics finally clinched the South Division with their win this past week with Mike Glennon under center. However, before we can get to the playoffs, we got one last game this week to take on our Florida rivals. For this game, we will be wearing a classic look with purple on orange for this last battle. #GoGalactics #ORLvsMIA #startthecountdown #SouthDivisionChamps #PlayoffBound

DAL 50.71% - 49.29% PDX
SEA 44.96% - 55.04% ORL
NYE 48.88% - 51.12% CHI
TEN 51.72% - 48.28% BOS

Congratulations on the completion of our second full regular season of play! It was full of ups and downs to be sure. Here are your 2021 AltFL Award Winners...
Tom Brady has now won the MVP Award 3 out of the last 4 times the award was presented. That dates back to his days in Tennessee.
For those unable to make the playoffs, including my injury riddled and unlucky Brawlers, here is your 'something to look forward to'.
The Draft Order (Top 5)
1. Kentucky
2. Toronto
3. Philadelphia
4. San Diego
5. San Antonio
Now let's get to the playoffs!
We head to Boston, Massachusetts where the North Division Champion Nightriders host the Tennessee Copperheads. The forecast for the game is 41-degrees and raining. After going 5-8 last season, the Nightriders led by head coach Mike Vrabel turned things around. The turnaround happened despite the Riders being without their quarterback Deshaun Watson for the season. They won the division on the final game of the season by beating their rivals from New York. Old North Field will be decked out in blue and gold for this one as they take on a venomous Copperheads team. The Copperheads are making their 2 straight trip to the postseason. Head Coach Eli Manning had great success against New England based teams in his playing career and hopes to do the same as a coach this week.
Copperheads Headliners
QB - Dak Prescott
RB - Antonio Gibson
RB - Jonathan Taylor
DB - Derwin James
Nightriders Headliners
QB - Justin Fields
RB/WR - Cordarelle Patterson
WR - Justin Jefferson
TE - Rob Gronkowski
DL - Myles Garrett
So who you got in this one?
We head to Orlando for this next game on CBS. Two new comers to the modern era playoffs. The Galactics won the South with an impressive 13-1 record. The Purple People Eaters were a force this year led by their eccentric quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Their head coach Milt Stegall is excited to take his experience into the playoffs. They are going to have to face the immovable STEELhead CURTAIN defense led by Dexter Lawrence and Joey Bosa. The Steelheads are pretty banged up going into this game but it will take a fight for the Galactics to reel them in.
Steelheads Headliners
QB - Derek Carr
RB - Darrell Henderson
TE - Darren Waller
DL - Joey Bosa
DL - Dexter Lawrence
Galactics Headliners
QB - Aaron Rodgers
RB - Saquon Barkley
WR - Keenan Allen
DL - Cameron Heyward
LB - Kwon Alexander
For the second straight season, Jerome Bettis and the Portland Grizzlies own the top seed in the playoffs. This season the Grizz won their record 10 West Division Title and their 3 in four years. They are led by their MVP quarterback Tom Brady. They will have to take on a feisty Bandits team who is looking to steal the joy from the PNW. The Bandits snuck into the playoffs on the last game of the regular season. They edged our Edge and the St. Louis Explorers for the final spot. Their reward? Just the best team in the league this season.
Bandits Headliners
QB - Taysom Hill
RB - James Conner
WR - Davante Adams
TE - Kyle Pitts
DB - Trevon Diggs
Grizzlies Headliners
QB - Tom Brady
TE - George Kittle
WR - Michael Pittman Jr.
LB - CJ Mosley
LB - Lavonte David
Finally we have the 1st City versus the 2nd City in this titanic clash. The Cyclones tore through the Central this season with a 13-1 record. The Emperors almost won the North but a late OBJ touchdown gave the Riders the title. New York is without their star player CMC who is done for the season. But the Emperors are not to be overlooked however. They made the playoffs last year and will use that experience to power them in the windy city.
Emperors Headliners
QB - Jalen Hurts
RB - Leonard Fournette
WR - Mike Evans
DL - Nick Bosa
DL - Yannick Ngakoue
Cyclones Headliners
QB - Matthew Stafford
RB - Austin Ekeler
LB - Jordan Hicks
LB - Micah Parsons
13/24 teams have now made the playoffs through two seasons. Toronto is the only team from the North to have never gone. Next year Beavers! Only three teams from last year made it this year. So great turnover from our league.
Those are our matchups, who you got this week? Who's going to win it all? Will Steel win another title in three fantasy seasons? Or will someone else join our elite group?
1-Portland versus 8-Dallas
2-Orlando versus 7-Seattle
3-Chicago versus 6-New York
4-Boston versus 5-Tennessee
