Surprise double post for the day!
1963 Kellogg Cup Super Series; Elite Eight
Roseau Stars vs Two Harbors Wolfpack
The Pack gave it their best effort, but ultimately were just outmatched as the Stars claim a 3-2 victory to return to the semi finals.
Twin Cities Vulcans vs St. Paul Victorias
Two very evenly matched teams battled all game long. The score was tied at one apiece at the end of regulation, but the Victorias were able to come out on top in their home building and keep their hopes of going back to back alive.
Thief River Falls Railers vs Warroad Lakers
All Aboard! The Railers on on a roll as they head into the semi finals after a 3 goal flurry in the first carried Thief past the Lakers 3-1.
Brainerd Lumberjacks vs St. Paul Saints
The story of the post season for Brainerd is slow starts, this game was no different with the Saints taking an early lead and capturing the momentum and riding that wave to another goal while shutting out the Jacks to advance to the semi finals.
Let me know what you think, comments are appreciated!

I'm going to take the Victorias in an upset over the Stars, Railers over the Saints.

1963 Kellogg Cup Super Series; Semi Finals
Roseau Stars vs St. Paul Victorias
The St. Paul Auditorium was packed with Victorias faithful and it felt very much like a home game despite a large amount of the population of Roseau making the trek to St. Paul. The V's struck first, electrifying the crowd. But the Stars would bounce back in the second with 2 goals from Soosi. St. Paul would tie things up early in the third and then the game began to be much more conservative. Regulation ended and a full overtime period passed with no goals from either side. The second overtime began and Roseau quickly went on the penalty kill after being called for elbowing. The Victorias set up their powerplay and got shots on net. After about half the powerplay was over, Cody Klaus took a shot from the dot that soared just over the goalies blocker and into the net to win the game for the Victorias and give them a chance at defending their title tomorrow.
Thief River Falls Railers vs St. Paul Saints
The Saints came marching in on a hot streak and a load of confidence, but the Railers stopped them dead in their tracks as they plowed through the Saints defense twice and shut down their offensive attacks, keeping them off the board all game. The Railers will advance to their first Kellogg Cup Final.

ALL. ABOARD.
1. I like seeing teams finally win that first Kellogg Cup.
2. A Railers Cup win would get some MUCH-needed respect for the Red River league (maybe with further expansion in the Dakotas?)
3. If the V's repeat, I'm sure there'll be PLENTY of discussion as to whether having the Super Series at the Auditorium gives them an advantage over the other teams, so they may have different teams bid to host each year, or may just pick a different neutral site (I know the Met Center opens four years from now in 1967).

1963 Kellogg Cup Super Series; Kellogg Cup Final
1st Period
TRF - 1
STP - 0
The atmosphere was electric at puck drop in the St. Paul Auditorium, over 7,500 packed in to watch their Victorias attempt to repeat. The "home" Railers struck first though, quieting the crowd and turning momentum in their favor for the remainder of the period.
2nd Period
TRF - 1
STP - 0
The second period was scoreless, with both teams playing good defense and both goalies on their game today.
3rd Period
TRF - 3
STP - 1
The third period started off all Thief River with a pair of goals from Zach Smith, both assisted by his brother Jack to build a commanding 3-0 lead with just over 13 minutes left to play. The Victorias tried their best to claw back, Klaus netted a goal to bring the V's back to within two, but it ultimately wouldn't be enough to stop the Railers who claim their first Kellogg Cup Championship!
The Tschida Trophy was given to Roseau's William Soosi.

Haha, the 10 years it took for a non-blue primary team to win the Cup has to be the strangest coincidence of the series so far.6.4.1
