2004 NFL Season
Eastern Conference
Following the 2003 season, many would have thought that Baltimore and Tampa Bay would be favorites to return to postseason form. This was not to be. The division would see a three way race for first. The winner of this race would be the Jacksonville Jaguars, division champions in just their third season. Though going into the final week, the Jaguars were 7-8, behind the 8-7 Dolphins and Redskins, they were playing the 9-6 Bay State Patriots. With the win, the Patriots could clinch the postseason depending on how the Giants and Steelers did, and many saw them as the likely winner. The Jaguars were down 20-7 going into the second half, before an explosive performance gave Jacksonville the win, 31-30. With the win, and losses for Miami and Washington, the Jaguars secured their first postseason birth in team history. In fourth place, the Baltimore Bombers finished at 7-9 and in last, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished at 5-11.
In the 2003 North Division, the Philadelphia Eagles pulled ahead of a strong division, finishing the season at 13-3. In second and their place, the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants posted a 10-6 record. The Steelers were led by their rookie quarterback, Ben Rothelisberger, while the Giants played under veteran PCFL QB Kurt Warner, as rookie Eli Manning waited in the wings. Though many expected the Giants to start Manning, New York chose to stay with Warner after a strong start raised playoff hopes, which were dashed against the rocks of fate. As stated, the Bay State Patriots finished at 9-7, a poor season after a championship, while the Cleveland Browns had a league worst 2-14 record. With seasons end, the Eagles won the right to host the Eastern Conference Final, and the Pittsburgh Steelers won the right to travel to Jacksonville to contest for an Eastern Conference Final.
In the 2004 Eastern Conference Playoff, the JacksonvilleJaguars hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the regular season, the Steelers had destroyed the Jaguars, with a 30-3 home victory. Though led by young Byron Leftwich, the Jaguars were far outclassed. Two field goals gave the Jaguars 6 points and thats all they would get. Roethlisberger had two tochdowns, while the defense had a pick six late in the game. With the victory, 24-6, the Steelers won the right to play the Eagles for the third time in 2004.
In the 2004 Eastern Conference Final, the Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers. In week three, the Eagles mopped the floor with the Steelers, 37-14 in Pittsburgh. In week seven in Philadelphia, there was much closer game. Going into the fourth quarter, the score was a 13-13 tie. Late in the game, the Eagles had the ball deep in their own territory, and gave up a safety to give Pittsburgh the win. In the playoffs there was another close affair. This time the game saw a 3-3 tie late. Donovan McNabb and the Eagles got the ball and drove down the field to win the game 10-3 on a Terrell Owens touchdown from twelve yards. With the win, the Eagles won the right to return to the NFL Title for the first time since 1996.
Western Conference
In the 2004 Central Division, the Green Bay Packers had a strong regular season, finishing at 12-4. Just behind them were the Indianapolis Colts and the Minnesota Vikings. Though the Vikings had good start at 9-3, they lost their final four games, while Indianapolis finished at 10-6 and in the playoffs. In fourth place, the Detroit Lions posted a 7-9 record, while far behind them were the 3-13 Chicago Bears. With the end of the season, the Packers won the right to host the Colts for a third time in a single season, with both playing in the Western Conference Playoff.
In the South Division, the Dallas Texans jumped ahead early and never stopped. At season's end the Texans were 14-2 and the unquestioned host of the Western Conference Final. In second place, the Tennessee Titans finished at a respectable 8-8, just ahead of the the 7-9 Atlanta Falcons and Houston Apollos, who had their best record in franchise history. In last place were the 3-13 New Orleans Saints, meaning that both the Saints and Patriots missed the playoffs after their NFL Title appearance, though the Saints had the far worst season than Bay State.
In the 2004 Western Conference Playoff, the Green Bay Packers hosted the Indianapolis Colts. In week one in Indianapolis, the Colts and Packers had a close match, which ended with a 38-35 Green Bay victory, while the week thirteen game in Green Bay saw a shootout between Brett Favre and Peyton Manning, which ended with a Packers win, this time 51-45. In the Playoff, the Packers started out great jumping ahead 35-3 in the first half. Though Peyton Manning and the Colts surged back, they would lose the game, 41-24. With the victory, the Green Bay Packers won the right to travel to Dallas for a shot at an NFL Title.
In the 2004 Western Conference Final, the Dallas Texans hosted the Green Bay Packers. In the regular season, the two had met in week two in Green Bay, where the Packers won by the skin of their teeth, 34-29. Led by Trent Green, the Texans had an explosive season, only losing twice. Still, many thought that Favre had the hot hand and that the Packers win the previous week showed they intended on a wining another NFL Title. Close as the game was, the Texans would hold the lead all game. In the end, the Texans won, 28-18.
2004 NFL Title
In the 2004 NFL Title, the Dallas Texans hosted the Philadelphia Eagles. The two did not meet in the regular season, and many anticipated a close game. They would get what they wished. All game, each team went the air route and Terrell Owens recorded two touchdowns. At the end of the first half, the two were tied 14-14, but the scores were not done yet. With two minutes left in the game, the score was all tied 28-28. Though the Eagles had the ball, and were driving down the field, the Texans defense scored big by forcing Owens to fumble after a reception, which the Texans then recovered. With the ball, Dallas only had to attempt to move the ball twice, winning the game on a last second touchdown. The final score was 35-28 and gave Dallas their ninth NFL Title.
2004 PCFL Season
The 2004 PCFL season saw a close race between pretty much every team in the league. Only the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers weren't in the race. In first and second were the 8-4 Denver Broncos and Saint Louis Rams. Led by Jake Plummer the Broncos won the right to host the Pacific Bowl for the second year in a row. The Rams, led by Marc Bulger had a breakout season and looked to be on the rise. In third, were the Arizona Cardinals, who had a surprise 7-5 season, who finished ahead of the the 6-6 San Diego Chargers and Seattle Seahawks. In sixth were the 4-8 Oakland Raiders and in last the 3-9 San Francisco 49ers.
In the 2004 PCFL Playoff, the Saint Louis Rams hosted the Arizona Cardinals. In the regular season, in week two, the Cardinals won a surprise 42-20 victory while in week eight, the Rams won 30-20. In their playoff bout, the finale was never truly in question. All game the Rams held the lead, and it ended with a 30-17 Saint Louis victory. In the 2004 Pacific Bowl, the Denver Broncos hosted the Saint Louis Rams. In the regular season, the week 10 bout ended with a 28-20 Denver victory, while in week eleven, one week later, the Broncos won again, this time 26-9. In the title, the Rams had the lead 21-10 with the third quarter's end. The Broncos would storm back and win the title, 31-21.

2005 NFL Season
Eastern Conference
The Atlantic Division in 2005 was much like 2004 in that three teams were competing for the division title. Early on the Baltimore Bombers, led by Jake Delhomme, were the crop of the division, but did face resistance from the defending divisional champion Jacksonville Jaguars and the constant contender Miami Dolphins. In the end the Bombers would win the division title, finishing at 11-5. Thanks to their victory over the New York Giants, the Bombers won the right to a first round bye and hosting the Eastern Conference Final. In second came Jacksonville, who at 10-6 had their best record in franchise history, while the third place Miami Dolphins also posted a 10-6 record. Despite early success, the Washington Redskins would finish at 8-8 one game ahead of the 7-9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In the 2005 season of the North Division, one player consistently impressed, and that was New York Giant quarterback, Eli Manning. Though he had played several snaps his rookie season, he had been second to Kurt Warner, who almost made the playoffs, his failure gave the Giants the excuse to retire him and bring Eli in for the 2005 season. In week one, the New York Giants hosted the Bay State Patriots on a cold September day in Giants Stadium. New York fans flocked to the Meadowlands to attend the game, which though a Giants loss, was only a two point victory for past champion, (23-21) Tom Brady. As the season proceeded the Giants soon came to match Bay State and by the end of the year, though tied in the record, the Giants had the tie breaker, and thus the right to host the Eastern Conference Playoff,.-although they would be playing the Patriots, who also made the playoffs at 11-5. In third, the defending conference champion Eagles had a terrible year, who at 6-10, were only one game of ahead perennial loser Cleveland, who were 5-11.
In the 2005 Eastern Conference Playoff, the Bay State Patriots traveled to New Jersey to play the New York Giants. As related the Giants had lost a close game to the Patriots in week one, but won in Foxboro in week 13, 20-18. With the victory, the Giants won the right to host the Patriots in the postseason. The game would be exceedingly close, with the Giants jumping ahead 16-0 in the first half. The Patriots, led by Tom Brady, stormed back, and tied the score at 16-16 going into the fourth quarter. The Giants, with Eli Manning at the helm, had a good drive that ended with a New York touchdown, that (with a two point conversion) gave the Giants the win, and the right to contest the Eastern Conference Final. This would be the beginning of one of the most contested rivalries in football, Tom Brady and Eli Manning.
In the 2005 Eastern Conference Final, the New York Giants found themselves out classed by the Baltimore Bombers. In the regular season, the Giants lost by five points to the Bombers in Baltimore, which gave the Bombers home field advantage for the playoffs. At the beginning of the game, the Bombers dominated, with a 21-0 lead going into the fourth quarter. Manning threw three interceptions and had a fumble, while also being sacked twice. With the ball in their possession, the Giants drove down the field twice and got touchdowns. However, since they were so far behind, the G-Men went for the two point conversion twice, and failed twice. With the victory in their hands, the Bombers would kick two field goals, to make the final score, Baltimore 27, New York 12. With the win, the Giants won the right to travel to Indianapolis to contest for an NFL Title.
Western Conference
In the 2005 Central Division, the Indianapolis Colts absolutely dominated the division, finishing at 13-3, far ahead of the 8-8 Green Bay Packers. Though the Packers had a .500 season, they had the tie breaker with the Tennessee Titans to give them a postseason berth. In third and fourth place, the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings both posted a 6-10 record, one game ahead of the last place Detroit Lions at 5-11. With the end of the season, the Colts won the right to host the NFL Title, while the Packers won the right to travel to Dallas for the Western Conference Playoff.
In the 2005 South Division, the Dallas Texans, as defending NFL champions, stayed in first all season, finishing at 12-4, far ahead of the 8-8 Tennessee Titans. Behind the Titans, were the 5-11 New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons who, at third and fourth helped round out the division. In last came the 2-14 Houston Apollos, who were back to the cellar after a 7-9 season. With the end of the season, the Dallas Texans won the right to host the Western Conference Playoff, against the Green Bay Packers.
In the 2005 Western Conference Playoff, the Dallas Texans hosted the Green Bay Packers. In the regular season, the Texans destroyed the Packers in Dallas, 55-0, and never had much of a competition in Green Bay. Though the Packers would score, three field goals, the Texans would find the end zone twice winning the Western Conference Playoff, 20-9. With the victory, the Texans would travel to Indianapolis for the Western Conference Final.
In the 2005 Western Conference Final, the Indianapolis Colts hosted the Dallas Texans. In the regular season, in week 17, the Colts won in Dallas 34-24. With the rematch coming up, many saw the Colts as the favorites by far, leaving Dallas in the dust. In the Final, the Texans took a 14-0 lead going to the second half. From there things would jump off. In the end, the Colts won 35-21. With the victory, the Colts won the right to host the NFL Title.
2005 NFL Title
In the 2005 NFL Title, the Indianapolis Colts hosted the Baltimore Bombers. The two did not meet in the regular season, but do to a superior regular season record, the Colts hosted. This would be the Bombers first Title appearance, and the Colts first since 1988. The match was also hyped because the Colts had formerly been the Baltimore Colts, and the Bombers fans were out for blood. Though tensions were high, the game was rather dull. At the end of regulation, the score was tied 13-13. In overtime, the Colts got the ball first, but lost the ball from an interception, that led to a Baltimore field goal, that gave the Bombers their first (and only) NFL Title.
2005 PCFL Season
The 2005 PCFL season, saw two teams dominate all season, the San Diego Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks. Both finished at 10-2, with the Chargers in first and the Seahawks in second. The two teams were commanded by their quarterbacks. Drew Brees, in his last contract year in San Diego, competed with Matt Hasselbeck of Seattle for a league passing title. In third place, the Denver Broncos finished at 7-5 in the Playoff. In fourth, Saint Louis went 5-7, while in fifth and sixth the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers posted a 4-8 record. In last, the Oakland Raiders had a terrible year, posting a 1-11 record. Their only victory came in week one against the 49ers, 44-0, in San Francisco.
In the 2005 PCFL Playoff, the Seattle Seahawks hosted the Denver Broncos. In week nine, the Seahawks won at home, 41-27, while in week 14, the Seahawks beat the Broncos 44-38. With both wins, many saw the Seahawks as winners by a mile. However, Denver would win in the end by a field goal, giving the Broncos their third consecutive Pacific Bowl appearance. In the 2005 Pacific Bowl, the game was close until the final whistle. In the end, the Chargers won 19-16.

2006 NFL Season
Eastern Conference
In the 2006 Atlantic Division, the breakout player was former Detroit Lions quarterback Joey Harrington. After being drafted high, he disappointed more than anything and was released following the 2005 season. After being picked up by the Miami Dolphins, he was originally intended to serve as a backup to veteran Gus Frerotte, but won the starting job by the end of preseason. All year the race for the division title was quite close, but at the end it was between the Miami Dolphins and the Baltimore Bombers. The Bombers were the defending NFL champions, but were unable to beat the Dolphins, losing both games in the regular season (24-3 in Miami and 29-23 in Baltimore). They would both finish at 10-6, with the Dolphins making the playoffs, and the Bombers missing out. In third and fourth place were the 8-8 Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while in last were the 3-13 Washington Redskins. With the end of the regular season, the Miami Dolphins won the right to host the Eastern Conference Playoff, where they would play the Philadelphia Eagles.
In the North Division, the Bay State Patriots dominated all year, finishing the regular season at 14-2. With the end of the regular season, the Patriots would win the right to host the Eastern Conference Final. In second place, were the 12-4 Philadelphia Eagles, who fought back from a 1-3 start to make the postseason as the wild card. In third, the Pittsburgh Steelers posted a 9-7 record, while in fourth and fifth were the disappointing 5-11 New York Giants, and the last place 4-12 Cleveland Browns. With the end of the regular season, the Patriots were to host the Eastern Conference Final, while the Philadelphia Eagles would travel to Miami for the Eastern Conference Playoff.
In the 2006 Eastern Conference Playoff, the Miami Dolphins hosted the Philadelphia Eagles. In the regular season, in week six, the Eagles defeated the Dolphins in a barn burner, 23-20, and as such, the game was highly touted as one of the best of the postseason. However, the Eagles victory in the regular season had pissed off the Dolphins (two plays before they kicked the game winning field goal, the refs called holding on the defense leading to the game ending score) and were itching for a rematch with Philadelphia. The game was close all game, with the score being 13-13 going into the fourth quarter. Shortly after the two minute warning, the Dolphins drove down the field, and won the game on a pass from Harrington to Sammy Morris, leaving the final score at 20-13, with Miami as the victor. With the victory, the Dolphins won the right to travel to Foxboro to play the Bay State Patriots for the right to be Eastern Conference champions.
In the 2006 Eastern Conference Final, the Bay State Patriots hosted the Miami Dolphins. In the regular season, the Dolphins lost badly at home to the Patriots, 23-9. With that performance (Harrington had a terrible game) many assumed that the Bay State Patriots would easily push aside Miami and go for Tom Brady's second ring. However, the game was far closer than most pundits had predicted. With a 10-10 tie going into the final minute, many saw the game as likely to go into overtime. And when Harrington got the ball on his own twenty, many were expecting an interception or something else that would give the Patriots the lead. After driving down the field, and with thirty second left, the Dolphins called an injury timeout, Joey Harrington had pulled a hamstring, and would be out for the remainder of the game, giving backup Cleo Lemon the time to shine. Lemon went 2 for 8 in passing and set up the field goal that won Miami the game, and gave the Dolphins the ultimate upset.
Western Conference
In the 2006 Central Division, the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings battled for divisional supremacy all year. They would split their regular season series, but in the end the Bears would finish in first at 13-3, while the Vikings would post an 11-5 record, both making the postseason. In third, the Green Bay Packers had a mediocre season, at 8-8, while in fourth and fifth were the 5-11 Detroit Lions, and most surprisingly, the last place Indianapolis Colts, who at 3-13, were unable to defend their conference title from 2005. With the end of the regular season, the Chicago Bears won the right to host the Western Conference Final, while the Minnesota Vikings would travel to New Orleans to play the Saints for the Western Conference Playoff.
In the 2006 South Division, the New Orleans Saints were the best team all season, and faced almost no challenge in their run to the postseason. They were led by quarterback Drew Brees, well known for his Pacific Bowl victory the previous season, and though they finished at 13-3, they lost out on tiebreakers. (The Saints lost at Soldier Field, 28-9) In second place, far behind New Orleans, were the 7-9 Atlanta Falcons and Houston Apollos. In last place were the 4-12 Dallas Texans, only two years removed from their NFL Title. With the end of the regular season, the New Orleans Saints won the right to host the Western Conference Playoff.
In the 2006 Western Conference Playoff, the New Orleans Saints hosted the Minnesota Vikings. In the regular season, in week 8, the Saints embarrassed the Vikings 37-12 at the Superdome. As such, most believed that the Saints were the heavy favorites. Though the game was close initially, once the Vikings started firing, they did so on all cylinders. They took the lead early and never let up. In the end, the Vikings won the game, 33-16, ensuring that the Western Conference Final and all Central Division affair.
In the 2006 Western Conference Final, the Chicago Bears hosted the Minnesota Vikings. In the regular season, they split their games (Minnesota won at home 27-6, while the Bears won the second at home, 20-6) and many insisted this game would be everything that the Eastern Conference Final was not, but this was not to be. Rex Grossman, a serviceable if not exciting quarterback, was unable to score a touchdown, as the Bears took a 6-0 lead. In the final minutes, the Vikings managed to get into the end zone, but went for the two point conversion in hopes of winning the game. They would not be successful, leaving the score tied at 6-6. With the game on the line, the Vikings attempted an onside kick, which gave the Bears the ball deep in enemy territory. Alas, they would only get a field goal, which gave them the lead, and as time expired, the victory. With the win, the Chicago Bears won the right to host the NFL Title.
2006 NFL Title
In the 2006 NFL Title, the Chicago Bears hosted the Miami Dolphins. The two were not evenly matched, especially with the Dolphins starting quarterback on the bench with an injury, Miami's championship hopes seemed out of reach. Led by Cleo Lemon, the Dolphins were out of sorts, as the two had not met in the regular season. In the first quarter, the Dolphins started off the scoring, with Wes Welker scoring on a fifteen yard pass. With the early lead some Dolphins fans were hopeful. Their hopes were soon dashed to the ground. Led on offense by Rex Grossman, and Brian Urlacher on defense, they absolutely steamrolled the competition, ending the game at 31-7, giving the Bears their third title since the schism in 1960.
2006 PCFL season
In the 2006 season, the San Diego Chargers, as defending champion, looked likely to repeat, although they were relying on QB Phillip Rivers, an untested player drafted in 2004. They would post a 10-2 record. In second, surprisingly, were the Saint Louis Rams, who at 8-4 won the right to host the PCFL Playoff. In third, there was a close race between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos, as both finished at 6-6, though the Seahawks would win out on tiebreakers. The fifth, sixth and seventh place teams all finished at 4-8, with them finishing in this order, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Raiders.
In the 2006 PCFL Playoff, the Saint Louis Rams hosted the Seattle Seahawks. In week three, the Rams hosted and defeated Seattle, 35-6, while in week 9, the Rams beat the Seahawks, 37-23. In this matchup, many expected the Rams to win, and they would prove right. In the end, the Rams won, 26-17, giving the Rams a Pacific Bowl appearance. In the 2006 Pacific Bowl, the San Diego Chargers hosted the Saint Louis Rams. Both teams were hungry, and many claimed the title was the best game of the football season, regardless of league. Though incredibly close, in the end, Saint Louis would upset, and give the Rams another title.

2007 NFL Season
Eastern Conference
At the start of the season in the Atlantic Division, the Jacksonville Jaguars seemed to be the best of the lot. As the season progressed however, another team jumped to the front. Although they would start the season 0-2, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers went on to win 12 games in a row, and though they would lose in week 16 to the Pittsburgh Steelers, they clinched the division title, and won the right to host the Eastern Conference Final. At 10-6, the Jacksonville Jaguars finished in second, and two wins out of the playoffs. In third, the Washington Redskins posted a 6-10 record, and in fourth, the Baltimore Bombers went 5-11. In last were the Miami Dolphins, who had lost Joey Harrington (who had been signed to a one year contract) to the Atlanta Falcons, and thus had to rely on Cleo Lemon. At the end of the season, the defending conference champions posted a 3-13 record.
In the North Division, the race for the division title was tight all season. In first and second (in that order) were the 12-4 Bay State Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers. Though tied, the Patriots had the tiebreaker, and won the right to host the Eastern Conference Playoff, while the Pittsburgh Steelers won the wild card, and made it so the Patriots would have to go through their hated rival to win the title. In third place, were the 11-5 Philadelphia Eagles, who had the division lead in week 9, but finished poorly. Behind the Eagles, were the 7-9 New York Giants, and in last were the 3-13 Cleveland Browns, who continued their woeful play.
In the 2007 Eastern Conference Playoff, the Bay State Patriots hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the regular season, the Patriots won both games (13-3 in Bay State, 23-13 in Pittsburgh), but the Steelers were good all season, and many hoped for a great game. As the snow began to fall, Tom Brady led the Patriots to a touchdown on their opening drive and the Steelers defense seemed at wits end to stop him, at least in the first quarter. With a 14-0 lead, the Patriots looked in control, but no game can truly counted out with Ben Roethlisberger at the helm. Over the next three quarters, the Steelers dominated. Though the Patriots would score a field goal, they would score no more touchdowns, and at the end, the Pittsburgh Steelers were triumphant, 31-17.
In the 2007 Eastern Conference Final, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the regular season, the Steelers had won 31-10 in Tampa, and were heavy favorites going into the game, even though the Buccaneers had the better regular season record, no one was fooled. Tampa Bay was at a loss all game. The Steelers embarrassed Jeff Garcia with five sacks and three interceptions, and only allowed a single score, which was off a 20 yard Michael Pittman run in the third quarter. At the end, Pittsburgh was the victor, 23-7, earning the Steelers the chance to contest for an NFL Title.
Western Conference
In the Central Division, the Green Bay Packers took an early lead and never looked back. At 14-2, the Packers were the best team in football and won the right to host the Western Conference Final. In second place, were the 9-7 Indianapolis Colts, who though led by Peyton Manning, were very average all year. In the last week, the Colts won a game, while the New Orleans Saints lost, giving the Colts a playoff berth. In third and fourth place, right behind the Colts, were the 8-8 Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings, who fought all year to make the playoffs, though unsuccessfully. In last place, the Detroit Lions posted a 3-13 record.
In the South Division, the race for the division crown was tight all season. In the end though it came down to the last week of play. Both the Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints were 8-7. The Titans won early in the season, 31-7, and for the rematch, the Titans would win again, 20-17 in Nashville to give Tennessee the division title. With the division title, the Titans won the right to host the Western Conference Playoff. In third were the 7-9 Houston Apollos, and in fourth and fifth place, were the 6-10 Dallas Texans and Atlanta Falcons.
In the 2007 Western Conference Playoff, the Tennessee Titans hosted the Indianapolis Colts. In the regular season, the Colts had hosted the Titans in week five, and all agreed it was one of the better games of the year. With two minutes left, the score was tied 32-32, as both offenses ( led by Peyton Manning and Vince Young) competed in a shootout. The game would continue to overtime, where the Tennessee Titans won an 48 yard field goal. In the rematch, the venues were switched and the game was just as tight, though far less exciting. Excellent defensive play by both squads left a game that was light on offense. In the end, the Titans defeated the Colts, again, this time 14-7.
In the 2007 Western Conference Final, the Green Bay Packers hosted the Tennessee Titans. In the regular season, the Titans had defeated the Packers, 10-9, one of only two losses by the Packers all year. The snow was falling heavily, and the Titans had no answer for the Packers offense. Led by Brett Favre, the Packers ran roughshod over the Titans, and never let up. In the end, the Titans would score a single touchdown, against the three for Green Bay. In the end, the score was 30-10, and the Green Bay Packers won the right to host the NFL Title.
2007 NFL Title
In the 2007 NFL Title, the Green Bay Packers hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers. The two did not meet in the regular season and as such many were unsure of the outcome. Early on the game was close, with a 10-3 lead in the first half, many of the Pittsburgh hopeful were assured of victory, but it ended up slipping through their fingers. The Packers scored three straight touchdowns and ended up winning 24-10. After the game, Brett Favre announced his retirement, ending an era in Green Bay.
2007 PCFL Season
In the 2007 PCFL, the defending champion Saint Louis Rams finished at 9-3, right behind the first place Denver Broncos, who also posted a 9-3 record. In third and fourth place, were the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals who would finish at 7-5. The Cardinals, though they missed the postseason, had a good showing under veteran QB, Kurt Warner. In fifth place, San Diego finished at 5-7, while in sixth one game behind, were the San Francisco 49ers. In last place, were the Oakland Raiders, who at 1-11 had the least wins in football.
In the 2007 PCFL Playoff, there was a rematch of the 2006 PCFL Playoff, with the Seattle Seahawks traveling to Saint Louis to play the Rams. Whereas in 2006 the Rams had advanced to the Pacific Bowl, this year they were destroyed by the Seahawks, 26-0, sending Seattle back to the Pacific Bowl. This year, the Seahawks ended up victorious and defeated the Denver Broncos in Denver, 31-24.

2008 NFL Season
Eastern Conference
In the 2008 Atlantic Division, there was a three way race for the division title. In first finished the 10-6 Washington Redskins, followed by the 9-7 Baltimore Bombers and lastly the 8-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One game behind Tampa Bay were the 7-9 Miami Dolphins, while in last place, were the 4-12 Jacksonville Jaguars. As the division champions, the Redskins won the right to host the Eastern Conference Playoff.
In the North Division, Tom Brady was injured in the preseason, leaving the divisional race wide open. In first place finished the Philadelphia Eagles, who at 14-2 had the best record in the NFL. One game behind them, were the 13-3 Pittsburgh Steelers, who won the right to travel to Landover to play the Washington Redskins in the Eastern Conference Playoff. In third place, the New York Giants went 10-6, out of the playoffs. In fourth, were the 6-10 Bay State Patriots. Without Brady, the team was led by Matt Cassel, who only won six games. At 6-10, the Patriots were ahead of the winless Cleveland Browns. With the end of the regular season, the Philadelphia Eagles won the right to host the Eastern Conference Final.
In the 2008 Eastern Conference Playoff, the Washington Redskins hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the regular season, the Steelers traveled to Landover, Maryland to play the Redskins, winning 17-10. In the rematch, the score would be vastly different. All game, the Steelers dominated, not allowing Washington a single touchdown all game. In the end, the Steelers, who had won the Eastern Conference last season, won the game 33-3, earning the right to travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles in the Eastern Conference Final.
In the 2008 Eastern Conference Final, the Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the regular season, the Steelers won their home game, 13-0, and away game, 20-14, being the only team all year to defeat Philadelphia. With both defeats, the Steelers were confident in their ability to control the game. Though the Eagles were generally high scoring, the Steelers defense was suffocating this Sunday, and prevented Philadelphia from scoring. In the end, though Pittsburgh won, they only scored three field goals. With the victory, the Pittsburgh Steelers won the right to host the 2008 NFL Title.
Western Conference
In the 2008 Central Division, there was competition from almost every team in the division. The one exception, were the Detroit Lions, who at 1-15, only defeated the Dallas Texans, 34-28. In first place, Chicago Bears, two years removed from a title run, posted a 11-5 record, while in second place, were the 10-6 Indianapolis Colts. Behind them were the third place, 9-7 Green Bay Packers, and in fourth were the 8-8 Minnesota Vikings. With the divisional title, the Bears won the right to host the Western Conference Playoff.
In the South Division, the New Orleans Saints, led by their star quarterback Drew Brees, finished at 13-3, winning the right to host the Western Conference Final as division champions. Behind them, at 11-5, were the Tennessee Titans. The Titans were blindsided early in the season, when their young star quarterback Vince Young, had a mental breakdown, forcing the team to replace him with veteran Kerry Collins, who had won a ring with the Giants in 2000. Though many expected a poor season, Kerry Collins won the Comeback Player of the Year award, and won the right to travel to Chicago for the Western Conference Playoff. In third place, were the 8-8 Houston Apollos, followed the fourth place Atlanta Falcons, who at 5-11 were just ahead of the last place Dallas Texans, who at 3-13, were the only team to lose to the Lions.
In the 2008 Western Conference Playoff, the Chicago Bears hosted the Tennessee Titans. In the regular season, the two met in week 6, with the Titans losing to the Bears, 19-13. With the rematch, it was just as close, with the Bears getting to a third quarter lead, 13-7. In the fourth quarter, the Titans leapt out and took the lead, resulting in victory, 20-13. With the win, the Titans won the right to travel to New Orleans for the Western Conference Final.
