Boston definitely has the strongest of this group. I don't know much about basketball aesthetics, so I kinda had to just do the eyeball test for the AltBL. So far Boston is my favorite team in the league, even better than Vancouver!

It is the moment you have all been waiting for! We have come to the end of the design process and we are just days away from everyone taking ownership of their very own AltBA franchise. The teams are looking good! Thanks to the efforts of everyone in the community. Thank you to everyone who put forth the effort to make the league look this good. This go around we have had more entries than ever before which gave people really tough decisions to make. 

Here are all of the team identities. Broken down by division. Remember the divisions will be named by the four owners in them. Get your wish list ready! 



Now let's move on to the owner draft! Once again here is a run through about how the order was determined. 

Two Point Sources:
1.) Contribution Points - if you won the votes for a team name, logo or uniform you get points.
2.) Lottery Points - the person selected at random first will receive 1 point. The person selected last will earn 23 points. 

Those categories are added together and then put in order to determine the Draft Order. The following video is the lottery portion of the points. The credits within the graphic above are the first portion. 




12 NOON ET I will open the owner draft. The first pick will be on the clock until they select their team. Feel free to have fun with your announcement. There have been some great ones over the last two drafts.

Once the team ahead of you posts you are on the clock. Please check back now and again on Sunday so that we can keep the draft moving. Everyone will be patient with people as they live out their Sundays.

If we don't hear from some for a while I will contact them privately to nudge them along. If needed we will skip their turn to keep the draft moving. But that will be a call that I make if necessary. 

If you know that you'll be out of touch on Sunday, please send me a ranking of the teams that you'd prefer. I'll draft the team for you (the top team remaining). 

There are 23 owners and 24 teams. The last team will be league owned. The purpose is so that we can monitor both leagues effectively. Plus it still gives the person in the 23rd spot a choice to make.

SPRINGFIELD (AltP)
After careful review of the tape, the pseudonymous legal entity known as "JamHeronArk" has dropped all allegations that any previous Alt Owner Lotteries have been rigged. A very tall spokesperson, which was definitely not three shorter spokespeople in a black trench coat and bronze-colored bowler cap, said, "Yeah, Jam watched the tapes so many times he had to burn the video onto Betamax a second time because the first tape wore out. Today he just sat back on the couch, said, "Huh," and dropped the allegations. There is no specific reason why today was the day these allegations were dropped, besides that Mr. HeronArk finally gave up on looking for evidence supporting the claims he now states are baseless." JamHeronArk had previously and privately considered retaining Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth to argue his case but declined to act on this consideration until the allegations were formally filed, which they were not. When not asked for comment, Mr. Edgeworth did not respond.

Minnesota definitely the best look to me. They will probably be my favorites. Sucks I didn't hear about this sooner so I could join and help with identities.
