As much as I love unique number fonts, something that was brought up in the CPHL was that rounded numbers aren't something that really existed back then. Use block fonts as much as possible, or have a damn good reason why they have a unique type of font. I like the Nationals, I really do. Just a heads up.

Well, I’ll be damned. I was wrong.

The Rangers and Habs might've had colored pants back then, but it seems unrealistic to me that an amateur team just starting up would be able to afford that (unless the Nats have some other backstory that I'm not aware of). I'll also echo OG's comments about a block font, but other than that, this is a good start and I'm excited to see where you take this!

Look up free NHL fonts. Download that and use one of them. That's what I do for the CPHL.
