C'mon Victors! Get hot in the last 3 and hopefully Ontario can fall off a cliff!

I'd watch out for Boston too, who currently holds the final playoff spot.

We're back baby!

Hopefully those moves are enough to put us over the hump, it seems like we're really going all in this year so hopefully we can keep it going

Lets Go Buffalo!

Guess I picked the wrong team to support. Can't even beat the Thunder. Damn Tigers.

Since their slow start, Long Island has been on a roll as of late.

How many times has Providence lost to Boston in the last several years?

Its the prime time to win for the Blue Wings, they are taking full advantage at the moment.

This year was likely a growing year for the younger parts of the team. 3-6 is far from where they hoped but there should be better years to come in the near future.

They have quietly been on a 5-game win streak, despite several injuries hopefully they will keep the moment going to the end of the season.

In the last 5 years, Boston has only won the matchup 3 out of 10 times, however in the first four years, Boston won 6 out of 8 with Providence winning 1.

The Raiders suffered yet another injury this week with LB Rusty McVee going down in his return to Montreal and leaving the team without 6 of their usual starters.
Montreal took advantage and former Raiders’ QB Stanislav Ovechkin was able to tie it up on a late 4th quarter drive.
Despite the tie, Long Island clinches their second playoff appearance in franchise history.

Worcester Athletics - 18, Buffalo Blue Wings - 27 - Worcester Stadium - August 31, 1957 - 4 PM ET

Buffalo wins their 7th straight as the Athletics’ championship hopes take a major blow with QB Riley Kiernan being injured for the remainder of the regular season.
Kiernan was injured on a tackle from new Blue Wings’ DL Craig Newman, and won’t return till the division finals.QB Andrew Glover made his return to the field, against the team that injured him last season, and almost got the Athletics back into the game, but came up short throwing a late pick to DB Lou Lake.

QB Alex Agramonte got into the endzone with the short-yardage unit after bouncing to the outside.
DB Lee Wolfe returned to the lineup with a huge interception to give Providence the chance to extend their lead in the second.
RB Laurent Brazeau also returned with a pair of TDs but it was not enough as they are falling further away from a playoff appearance. *Providence officially clinch their 2nd straight playoff appearance.

Boston Independents - 13, Louisville Thunder - 10 - Richardson Stadium - September 2, 1957 - 2 PM ET

Louisville had a late surge after WR Marty Jay got free behind Boston coverage and took a deep shot to the house.

21-16 ON - TD WR Benedict Spencer
28-16 OTT - TD TE Jervonte Howell
4th
28-23 ON - TD RB Clifford Russell

The Royals and Tigers had an offensive shootout in their lone meeting this season. Each team’s defence didn’t have much of an effect aside from DL Olaf Viktorsson grabbing a forced fumble and a pair of sacks for the Royals.
Tigers drop yet another game and are hanging on by a thread heading into the final 2 games of the season.
Ottawa clinches a playoff spot with the win.
With the Tigers’ loss, the Athletics clinch a playoff spot

Re: North American Association of Football - NAAF

With Kiernan out now I can possible see a late season slide here by the Athletics as he is so important to their offense. A possible seeding switch with Boston if things go south for them.
