American Gridiron Association: City Selection Help

Hey y'all,

I can't believe it's happened but I'm actually bored with doing my same fictional leagues the same way for the past twelve or so years. Every time I come up with something lately I just can't stick to it. They're easy ways for me to unwind and let off steam while simulating fictional seasons at the same time.

I believe it's because I've gotten a little predictable for myself. I pick the same cities over and over, a few with lackluster identities (which I'm usually good at). I do value realism, it's one of the big reasons I like the AltHL and AltFL so I try to stick to it as much as possible.

So this time I'm asking for help in selecting my eight (8) starting cities, I can come up with identities from there, in the AGA, a spring football league like the XFL and AAF. I'm here for the regulars (i.e. Los Angeles, New York, Chicago) and the unusuals (i.e. Omaha, Austin, Raleigh) or whatever suggestions you guys may have. These eight teams will be split into American (West) and Gridiron (East) divisions.

Thank you for your help in advance!

Re: American Gridiron Association: City Selection Help

So I looked for 8 cities that spanned the country that don't get used too often. Not saying it's realistic or anything.
Hartford, CT
Dayton, OH
Norfolk, VA
Lansing, MI
Albuquerque, NM
Sacramento, CA
Boise, ID
Reno, NV
