The 2005 AltFL Season
IRL the Jaguars and Panthers joined the team. Meanwhile the two Los Angeles teams moved to St. Louis and Oakland respectively. Additionally, the Browns moved to Baltimore to become the Ravens.
The quarterbacks may now receive communications from the bench from a small radio receiver in their helmets, partly repacking a rule that had been in force since 1956.

Only ONE game short of the playoffs...but we got us Sapp and Thomas now, so the rise of the "Sackin' Quacks" is nigh.

Ah yes, the Warren Sapp Draft.
San Diego fans: “WE WANT SAPP!!!”
“With the 9th pick in the AltFL Draft, the San Diego Destroyers select Kyle Brady, TE from Penn State.”
Destroyers fans: *crushing heartbreak*

Sapp was a victim of character problem suspicions that arose just before the draft. A lot of teams were scared off..my Eagles took DL Mike Mamula over him who was a classic case of Combine Champion who surprised everyone. Ultimately he wasn't bad but considered a bust because of how he paled in comparison to Sapp.

True, but fans of the Jets (now Destroyers) were going nuts for him. They said that they could take care of any problems he had. Nothing against the debacle, just poking fun at the Jets (no offense, Dr. Pepper).

Oh? You're challenging me? Well then come as close as you want and bring it on! (even though I fully expect my Cyclones to fall short, as usual)

Time for Terrell Davis, that's an absolute steal..well until Tennessee gets ready to dunk on me with Pick 199
