Hey everyone, I've recently been working on a new sport similar to markball (my current sport here), and have decided to create a league for it, modeled after the AFL, where it starts off with several teams in one city, and ends up expanding across the country. I've decided to do this with New York, but as someone who doesn't know all that much about the different boroughs, I'm having a tough time thinking of names (I already have the locations, and colour schemes were randomly generated for no good reason)

Here's what I have so far: (These would be the original 6 teams)

Staten Island Islanders: Red, Black, White (I wanted one redundant name just for fun)
Bronx Bears: White, Red
Boston: Black, White
Hempstead: White, Red
Buffalo: Black, Blue
New York (City): Navy Blue, Light Blue

Manhattan (Blue/Yellow), Brooklyn (Black/Red), Newark (Maroon/White/Blue), Westchester (Blue/White/Red, and Queens (Yellow/Black) would also get teams later on, but any suggestions for those would be appreciated as well!

As well, if this idea seems popular enough, I might get to posting it on here, I've really enjoyed creating everything about it so far.
