Re: An Alternate History of American Football: The NAFA

Name: Will Cutter
Age: 27
Bio: Radio mogul from Concord, North Carolina, currently expanding into TV, after taking over his father's company. He's followed college football for quite a while, and believes that the NAFA has great potential to be popular for years to come.

Choice 1: Chicago. This choice is obvious, and should be what happens here, since Chicago is the largest city without a team. Plus, beginning to push west could do wonders for the league.
Choice 2: Charlotte. This may seem out of place, but Will knows how passionate Carolina sports fans are. (Side note, this can be seen with how Green Bay has remained there for forever.) He believes that creating a quick and smart push south can lead to new opportunities for the league, and he thinks that Charlotte should be the centerpiece of that push.

Name: Jack Schmidt
Age: 37
Bio: Owner of Handsome Jack's Used Car Emporium outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is one of the first white dealers to sell cars to blacks as green is the only color he sees.
Choices: Chicago and Indianapolis. Chicago is the 2nd largest market in the country. How did they not get a team sooner? And Indianapolis makes sense as it is within range of most other teams thus making profitability easier due to lower travel expenses.

Name: Anders Lindberg
Age: 47
Bio: Owner of a Flour Mill in Minneapolis, MN. Avid football supporter and hoping to spread the league further west to Minnesota.
Choices for Expansion:
Chicago - Just makes sense, the biggest market and not too far away from current teams.
Indianapolis - May be smaller, but location is prime and the fans may be very loyal since there's not much else for them to root for.

1952 Off Season - Part I

Along with the two new expansion teams coming in the 1952 off season, NAFA fans were greeted with two new looks from two of the league's below-average teams:

Cleveland Lumberjacks

The 'Jacks completely re-branded their look. They darkened their green color and adopted a new logo and uniform design.

Montreal Saints

The Saints added gold to their color scheme as well as a fleur de lis on the sleeves of the jerseys.

Thanks for viewing. As always C&C is encouraged and appreciated.

Name: David Ross
Age: 32
Bio: Sport play-by-play broadcaster for multiple colleges and start-up broadcasting CEO in Louisville, Kentucky.

1) Chicago- Felt like that should have been an inaugural team
2) Indianapolis- It would be too soon if the NAFA expanded south. Snatch up all markets in the Midwest and establish a foothold in a great city that definitely has some potential for pro football

Re: An Alternate History of American Football: The NAFA

Name: Newton Nadeau
Age: 40
Bio: Born and raised in New Orleans. Built a shipping business out of mostly southern ports. Sold it for big bucks and moved to New York to attend college. A natural at networking, his brash style earned him a reputation as a business maverick for hire. Now is a business consultant with a reputation as a cutthroat closer and headhunter for big firms.

Choices for Expansion:

Chicago - a no-brainer choice for any league looking to establish themselves.
Houston - the city is growing fast and will be a mecca in the south. Plus Texans are avid football supporters and there's plenty of money available with oil and cattle barons.

Yeah, these new looks are nice!   Not gonna lie, I'm kinda gonna miss the brown socks the Lumberjacks had.  Maybe the brown will come back down the road.  But yeah, this is a great update!

The Saints look awesome too.  I always do enjoy seeing the fleur de lis on jerseys and Montreal is definitely an appropriate team for it.    I like it a lot, but considering that they're starting to look a little bit more like a certain NFL team of the same name, I do at least have to mess with you and ask if you're a New Orleans fan per chance?
