Hello Everyone, we've just completed season four of the AltBA with the Oklahoma City Bison claiming their second championship, and I'm excited to announce that it is time for the AltLB Refre5h! I'll be your point of contact on this one and working with Gritty as needed to make sure that it runs smoothly. We're starting early to ensure that we have time for every step along the way and will finish in time for the upcoming 2026 season.

We're going to be doing this similarly to the AltBA Refre5h so that we can spread the process out, allowing more time for designs, separate logo and jersey submission windows, and allow us to Refre5h our unowned teams as well. I want every opportunity for everyone to a) get quality submissions, and b) get quantity submissions.

So if you currently own an AltLB team, you'll get an email from me at the email you used for the AltLB from my altlb.dc@gmail.com email to start the process over the weekend. From there, we'll break it down, working on no more than 6 teams at a time. First 6 responses will be in wave one, next 6 will be in wave two, and the final 6 would be in the wave three, with the 12 unowned (with one exception as n00bthtpwnz will be joining) in the final two waves, four and five. So in the meantime, start brainstorming, what do you want in the future for the design of your AltLB franchise. We can only have one champion a season, but we can all have championship-caliber looks.

Welcome to the kick off of the Logo phase of the AltLB Refre5h! Today the first 6 responses to the emails are going to be shared. We have 1 more that was received that will definitively be in Wave 2. That means for the other 11 of you, you have 2 weeks to get your briefs in before Wave 2 is to be sent. But now for Wave 1: Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minnesota, Oklahoma City, and Tampa Bay. Lots of red and gold in this mix, and a pair of blue and green or green-adjacent logos. So with that in mind, here are your briefs!

The due date on these is Sunday, October 26th at 10:00pm Central Time. Please send as an SVG (if able) to AltLB.DC@gmail.com.

Okay, so the designs that were received for Wave 1 have been sent to the owners for review. As such, we move to the Logo round for Wave 2, featuring Arizona, Carolina, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Oakland and Toronto! As the decisions are made and sent in, I will share the choices from Wave 1.

The due date for Wave 2 Logo Submissions is Sunday, November 9th at 10pm Central Time.

Okay, before I send out the Wave 2 submissions to the owners and the Wave 3 briefs, here's the winning options (except for Tampa Bay as I'm still waiting for the information from the Turtles).

Okay, so the designs that were received for Wave 2 have been sent to the owners for review. As such, we move to the Logo round for Wave 3, featuring Chicago, Havana, Memphis, Montréal, New York and San Diego!

The due date for Wave 3 Logo Submissions is Sunday, November 23rd at 10pm Central Time.

The due date for the Wave 3 Logos and the Wave 1 Jersey Briefs is tomorrow (though we may see some shuffling with which teams are in Wave 1...), but we have all the decisions for the Wave 2 Logos! So here they are!

Alright, the Wave 3 Logo submissions have been compiled and sent to their respective owners. They have until Sunday, December 7th to make their choices and submit a jersey brief.

Wave 2 winners were announced last night, so today we start our jersey rounds! Wave 1 jersey briefs are shared below... except Tampa Bay. I haven't received the brief for them, so Toronto will be swapping to Wave 1 with Tampa Bay moving to Wave 2. So here are the jersey briefs for Wave 1. Please submit with one file compiling your home, road, and alternate submissions. PNG is completely fine for this round.

DUE DATE IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7th at 10pm CENTRAL!

Alright, we've got the winning logos for Wave 3! We have jersey submissions going out tomorrow, and the jersey briefs for Wave 2 coming tomorrow as well! So... here's the new logos (or same logos in some cases)

Alright folks, as we're still waiting on some information from the Turtles and Squirrels, we're gonna bump them into Wave 3. I don't really have a plan for what I'm going to do if they don't get them in, so I've got my fingers crossed. To fill their spots in Wave 2 we moved the first two jersey briefs I did receive from Wave 3 into Wave 2 with New York and Memphis, so in addition to them we also have Arizona, Carolina, Kansas City, and Las Vegas!

NOTE: the Las Vegas numbers are available as an SVG, please reach out to idm or myself to get them.

Deadline for these will be Sunday, December 21st at 10pm Central time!
