As is typical for Halifax, we're a top-half scoring team with two closely-contested games, but have been the recipient of the third-most points against through two weeks resulting in a less than desirable 0-2 start. This week we're back home against Quebec. We feature newcomer Elias Lindholm who had an extremely hot start to the season before a really bad stretch of games, but the social media team had already made the graphic so here he is anyway.

It wasn't quite as convincing a win as last week, but the Wildcats continued their win streak through game 3 by defeating the Shockers. Now we head back on the road, where we'll face the Sawblades, who are tied with us atop the West at 3-0. With the winner taking control of the conference, this is sure to be a hard-fought game. We got a top performance from W Valeri Nichushkin, who scored three goals and an assist while piling on five hits. #WhatTeam #RallyCats

The 48ers made a valiant comeback attempt, and fell just short, dropping our first game of the season in Portland. However, despite the loss, we move into the top spot in the East Division as we head east to take on the Loons in the Twin Cities. We will don the ivory uniforms again for this one, as we take on our former division rivals. Despite the loss, Nick Schmaltz was nearly unstoppable for the Eighters, with four goals, three assists, a hit, and five blocks. #AnotherRound #ShotsOnUs

More typical for Halifax, now leading with most points against which marred a great effort against Quebec to fall to 0-3 on the season. We're searching for a first win on the road against Montreal with young budding star Lane Hutson on the graphic as he led all defensemen for the Kingfishers last week.

After stumbling out of the gate against Portland, the Wildcats tried to catch up, but ultimately couldn't dig ourselves out of the hole. After our first loss of the season, we still slot in second in the league, thanks to the Sawblades being the only undefeated team to stay that way. We'll get our next shot at a victory as we head back to Edmonton to face the Minnesota Loons. The Loonies are tied with us in the standings, so this will be another important game in the early part of our schedule. C Anthony Cirelli was one of three players tied for our top scorer this week, finishing with an almost-satisfying statline of 2 goals, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and ... a +5. #WhatTeam #RallyCats

A second consecutive loss, this time to the Loons, leaves us at 2-2 heading into week 5. Getting back in the win column and avoiding dropping below .500 is the focus on this week as the Saskatoon Shockers come to town. We'll be in the alternate brown look for this one, and featuring winger Mathieu Olivier, who has been bringing the physicality we love here in Milwaukee on the season. #AnotherRound #ShotsOnUs

Game 5 was a tough fight, as we had to come from behind to knock off the Shockers, as we started slow, but managed to punch in a few goals to close out the game. Next on the schedule we welcome the Boston Rovers to Milwaukee, as we both look to move to 4-2 on the young season. After wearing the alternate uniforms last week, this time we're breaking out the primary gold jerseys at Manpower Arena. Our featured player this week is winger Eeli Tolvanen, who put the team on the back last week with 1 goal and 3 assists, setting him up with a +1 on the week and 2 power play points, as well as getting physical with 12 hits and a lone block. #AnotherRound #ShotsOnUs

The Wildcats bounced back from our first loss of the 2025-26 campaign with a win over the Loons. Our tough stretch of games continues, as our next game comes in Montréal against the always-dangerous Chevaliers. The Chevs are 3-2 despite being one of the highest-scoring teams in the league, so they won't want to let another good effort go to waste. Tasked in part with stopping that scoring is D John Carlson, who blocked 3 Minnesota shots last week, but had his more notable contribution on offence, with two goals and two assists. #WhatTeam #RallyCats
