From one champion to another, Mill City must be really happy avenging their loss from last year. Well done.
On that note (and I asked this before), at what point do we see teams take on nicknames? And which teams survive and fall down as the years go by?

Teams already are being referred to by nicknames (Millers for Mill City, Saints or Apostles for the St. Paul Athletic Club, Lumberjacks for Brainerd, Reds for Eveleth, White Bears for White Bear Lake, Tigers for Richfield, & Timberwolves for Two Harbors to name a few) but they won't start adopting official nicknames until the mid 1910s at the earliest with some teams likely to remain nicknameless up to as late as the 1930s.
There will be a few teams here and there that fold or merge as populations rise and fall in different towns, but overall most of these teams will be around in the modern day.
