That's what we like to see. Granted, it was against a sub-0.500 Griffins team, but the Atoms won by nearly 0100 points to advance to the NLCS. Only one team now stands in the way of our second consecutive pennant, and it's my hometown Boston Masons. Unlike Carolina, who finished last week with the lowest score, Boston finished with the highest score, so we certainly won't be taking them lightly. We'll have to lean on our pitchers, like starter Braxton Garrett, to do things like strike out 07 batters across 06 scoreless innings. #UpAndAtom #BetOnIt #BOSvsLV

That's what we like to see [02]. For the second straight game, the Atoms blew out a playoff opponent, and for the second straight year, the Atoms are winners of the NL pennant. It won't mean a whole lot, though, if we don't get it done against Dertoit, and I certainly don't expect our average postseason point differential of 0117 to hold up in the championship series. With the Bison eliminated, though, we'll get to host the World Series, as we'll play the Deacons under the Videodome for the second time this season. As we look to close out the season, and with Felix Bautista still on the shelf (at least for now), we look to RP Jose Alvarado to get the job done. #UpAndAtom #BetOnIt #DETvsLV

The Deacons are AL Champions! It was certainly no easy task against the reigning champs, but they got the job done. On to Vegas, where it certainly won't get any easier. Let's win this for the city of Dertoit!

Yes it’s been played. It finished on the 1st of October and the Deacons beat the Atoms.
