The 48ers are moving along, and sitting in a tie with the only other undefeated team in the league for the lead in the Central, so we need to keep winning to make sure we at least keep pace with the Ghosts. We head out to the last leg of this four game road trip in North Carolina. The Racers are never an easy team to beat, so we'll need to make them earn their points through tough, blue-collar hockey. We'll be wearing the Ivory jerseys on the road as always, this week featuring defenseman Alexander Romanov!

The Wildcats were able to rebound, putting up a solid performance and getting back into the win column. Unfortunately, this week, we face an even tougher battle, as we take on one of just four teams who outscored us last week. The Winnipeg Arrows can look forward to a bruising style of play, headlined by D Martin Fehervary, who treated the Bighorns to one assist, 11 hits, and 12 blocks last week. As a bonus, we're back at home and we get to break out the blue jerseys for the first time in about a month. #WhatTeam #WPGvsEDM

We fought hard against Alaska, but the Smiley Bear was too much for the Owls, and we're now 2-3 on the season. No time to sulk, though, as we head down to Minnesota to take on the Loons, who are also 2-3 on the season. This should be a hard-fought game in which we will wear our standard away set. Our player of the week is goalie Marc-André Fleury, who plays for the Minnesota... Wild? That team must be from an alternate universe because the only pro hockey team in Minnesota is the one the Owls are facing this week. #RevengeOfTheHoot #QUEvsMIN

We have our Frozen Four, as we lost one more this week. We expected to lose them however, so all good!
7-2 Magic
6-3 Steelman
5-4 Kingsfan
4-5 DireBear
4-5 Darknes
And it came to the tiebreaker. Your highest scoring team this week was the Denver Bighorns (Central good) with 153.0 points. Dire predicted a high score of 160, Dark predicted a high score of 166, so Darknes has left us.
Four left, let's move on!

Coming off a poor showing against the Racers, the 48ers head back home to Manpower Arena to host the Edmonton Wildcats. Both teams are looking to keep up with the top teams in their conference, but only one will come away with the win. We've got a special going this week for American Thanksgiving, as you can pick up a turkey leg or turkey breast sandwich at many of the concession booths around the arena. We're wearing the standard home browns this week, as shown by number 55, Mark Scheifele!

It's safe to say the city of Winnipeg had a rough one yesterday. For one, some team called the "Blue Balmers" lost in something called the "Gray Cup," and in something that actually mattered to the citizens of Manitoba, the Arrows lost a regular season AltHL game to the Edmonton Wildcats. We now head southeast to Milwaukee, where the 48ers are apparently just getting around to celebrating Thanksgiving? Hey, any excuse to stuff my gullet with meat is fine by me. W Anders Lee headlines our trip to the Cream City, where there promises to be cream everywhere - just not in this game, as we're wearing our white jerseys. #WhatTeam #EDMvsMKE #CreamEverywhere

After taking an L in Anchorage, the Owls went down to Minnesota and picked up the W to end this 2-game road trip but lost Marc-Andre Fleury to injury. We head home to take on the Winnipeg Arrows, who just took a big L against Edmonton and will be looking to get back into the winning column. We will be wearing our traditional home set for this Canadian clash, and it should be a hard-fought game, so we will have to count on our best players, like this week's featured player, Dylan Larkin, to score enough points to get a win. #RevengeOfTheHoot #QUEvsWPG
