Re: The AltHL Season 2022
It wasn't the prettiest win, but at this point, the Wildcats will take what we can get. Unsurprisingly, we were able to beat Detroit fairly easily, and now we get to return home. The Rovers will be a much tougher challenge, but with a playoff berth just beyond our grasp, every game feels like a must-win. We're featuring our leading scorer this week, as despite not joining the team until Tuesday, rookie C/W Juuso Parssinen tore it up, finishing with a goal and three assists on the week. #WhatTeam #BOSvsEDM

Coming up big last week with a league leading score, the 48ers took the Bighorns to the woodshed. We're right in the hunt for the Central Conference title, but standing in our path this week is the Detroit Angels. The Angels are still looking for their first win in franchise history, and we're going to do everything we can to make sure we're not that first win for them. We're getting the Ivory set out and head into the Motor City for this one. We're showing off the set with big #57, you may think his name is Heinz, but it's Wade Allison!

Turns out, playing the Angels did help. While our game in Dertoit looked sloppy, the Wildcats came back home and looked like a completely different team against the Rovers, coming away with a much more convincing win. While it feels wrong not to mention Zach Hyman's 4-goal, 5-assist performance or Jeremy Swayman's first shutout of the season, they've both already had their time in the spotlight, so instead, we'll illuminate a well-rounded performance from D Rasmus Ristolainen, with 3 points, 7 hits, and 3 blocks. He and the rest of the team head to Seattle, where we finally start round two of divisional matchups, as we look to sweep the season series against the Seawolves. #WhatTeam #EDMvsSEA

We needed a late week push, but we nabbed a win against an Angels team that just wouldn't quit. Thankfully, we got a win and then got to leave Detroit! This week we're back home against the red hot Owls. The Owls are in a 5-way tie for the final 4 playoff spots right now, and are looking to keep themselves in position to play some playoff hockey. Meanwhile, the 48ers remain tied with the Arrows atop the Central Conference, two games up on the Ghosts and Loons in the division. With 6 games left, we're looking to build up that cushion and earn a playoff berth in only our second year of existence. We're sporting the standard brown set this week, shown off by physical blueliner, Jeremy Lauzon!

Yeah, we could get used to this. The Wildcats kept rolling over the Seawolves last week, scoring the most points of anybody not playing in Québec City. And speaking of Québec, we welcome - wait the 48ers have already said they're playing the Owls. I guess we can still face a team from Québec if we play the Chevs this week, so we'll do that instead. Montréal has plenty of goal-scoring ability, so it's a good thing G Ilya Samsonov has been stellar in net lately. #WhatTeam #MTLvsEDM
