PEHLAM JAGUARS: HC Ebe Biggs takes a different approach to offense with his OC Milly Zabranovitch, they are one of the first teams to run strictly out of the gun. While they aren't the first team to do that in this year, they are getting ahead of the wave. If Zabranovitch can impress there might be better opportunities that lie ahead for him. On the defensive side coach Billy Hicks will run a 4-3 based on a balanced attack. For the Jags the key will be getting the right players for their offense, it will be interesting to see if coach Biggs can put together a competitive squad for the upcoming season.

TOP PLAYERS:
QB: Spencer Zabranovitch #5 JR 82OVR 6'1 185
WR: Payton Harris #86 SR 78OVR 5'11 170
WR: John David Watson #16 SR 74OVR 6'0 175
Following his dad to Pehlam, QB Spencer Zabranovitch will look to head a very pass heavy approach. He will distribute the ball to fellow WR's Payton Harris and John David Watson. Both are formidable targets.

PALMER EAGLES: Palmer is the second and final team to come out with a triple option approach for the upcoming 1990 season. They are one of the smallest schools in the league with the football team coming in with around 40 kids. HC Randy White and OC James Clemens should have no trouble installing the option offense into these kids' heads. On the defensive side Paul Kulik runs a 3-4 with a twist, he will bring one of his linebackers into the box and use him as a Buck for extra pass rush and run stopping. Palmer has a tough challenge ahead of them and it's tough not to get left behind in this competitive division. Coach White has his work cut out for him.

TOP PLAYERS:
QB: Louis Kaplan #3 SR 69OVR 5'10 165
RB: Blake Keller #9 JR 78OVR 6'0 195
RB: Keith Wilkinson #23 SR 77OVR 6'3 240
Palmer running the triple option might be the best thing they have going for them. The QB Louis will have a huge challenge as he has some running ability but basiclly no passing. RB's Blake Keller and Keith Wilkinson split the backfield and will be the two feature backs.

COALMONT RAIDERS: Last but not least we have the Coalmont Raiders led by first year HC Ted Kavich. Ted used to be an OC at Lynchburg but most recently was an assistant at UMS-Wright in Mobile, Alabama. From there he brings his own Power I style with OC Jamie Ross. Coalmont has around 60 kids on the team and should be a solid squad. The defense is led by longtime DB coach Moran Colburn, he runs a Base 4-3 defense predicated on stopping the run. Coalmont is a small town that has a lot of pride in their team, but if they can deliver? That's a different story.

TOP PLAYERS:
QB: Patrick Burk #11 JR 76OVR 6'3 180
RB: Britton Bell #29 SR 80OVR 5'11 195
WR: PJ Watt #14 SO 76OVR 5'8 165
A rabid fanbase is expecting a good season for Coalmont, will they preform? QB Patrick Burk will be good enough to get the ball to a very young WR core led by PJ Watt. RB Britton Bell can provide a steady balance as well.

I am a fan of what you have here. It’s simple on purpose, and it works. Any way we could get some logo close ups?

LEAGUE'S TOP FIVE:
#1: Tracy City, Cameron Bonner RB/WR 95OVR
Cameron is easily the best player in this league and will have a great chance to show it with this offense based around him.
#2 Manchester, Parker Bronswell QB 88OVR
Parker offers a great throwing arm and good scrambling as well. As the top QB he has offers from a few regional colleges.
#3 Tullahoma, Lloyd Kerr FB 88OVR
Lloyd will likely lead Tullahoma in a few categories this season and is one of the best players a triple option offense can have.
#4 Lynchburg, Garrett Warren FB/HB 86OVR
Garrett will be a piece in the IOption attack in Lynchburg and should produce for the best team out of the Moore/Grundy County division
#5 Hillsboro, Jake Gamble QB 85OVR
Jake will head a Pro Style attack where he is the key decision maker.

WEEK ONE SCHEDULE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tullahoma v. Palmer. Battle of the Triple Options... That might be the only thing giving Palmer a chance.
Tracy City v. Coalmont. Cameron Bonner, that is all.
Manchester v. Allamont. Allamont will be cautiously optimistic going against the projected champs.
Arnold v. Lynchburg. Arnold and Lynchburg will be one of the most evenly matched games this week.
Hillsboro v. Pehlam. Battle of the passing offenses, lots of yards here.
Lakewood Park v. Summitville. Summitville looks to control the pace of this one against an undersized Cougars team
