Re: AltBA Design Thread

We're still keeping our G League team where they're at, and what we got in mind for the PG 13s logo is a Vultee BT13 Valiant (a predecessor to the modern Warbird found in our logo).

Re: AltBA Design Thread

The Seattle Emeralds have officially announced their stadium plans for their franchise.

The Emeralds' first stadium was the KeyArena at Seattle Center beginning play in 2000.

Beginning in 2021, the Emeralds will be playing in the state-of-the-art Alaskan Airlines Carrier. Yes, that's right, the Seattle Emeralds will be playing on an aircraft carrier. This is an out-of-commission aircraft carrier that has been sold to the ownership group of the Quebec Owls, Miami Hammerheads, and Seattle Emeralds. The ownership group spent so much money on the aircraft carrier that they could not afford an architect, so they decided to do their own mockups...if anyone knows a good architect, call me.

The Alaskan Airlines Carrier is located right off of Pier 62 near Alaskan Way in Seattle.

Here is a look at the court inside the AAC.

In the spirit of spreading the game internationally, they should host an exhibition game on the Ever Given!

Re: AltBA Design Thread

The San Jose Cyborgs have played in the famous San Jose Forum since the team's founding. However, plans are finally in place to build a stadium in time for the near future with state of the art amenities and many quality of life things The Forum never had. The new Cisco Center will be one of the nicest arenas in the country.

Here's pictures of both the old San Jose Forum and the proposal for the new Cisco Center, located in downtown San Jose.

The Cyborgs have also announced the name of their G-League team. The Santa Barbara Missions will release logos and the rest of their identity in the near future.

The Charlotte Flyers have unveiled the final court that will be used at the Coliseum:

With an emphasis on the city that supports them and the crown the team represents, the Flyers have to send the Coliseum off with a great season!

The hope is retroactively it represents the 9 championships we have won.

Re: AltBA Design Thread

For most of the OIympian’s history, they have played at the Great Olympic Forum. With it being a reskin of The Forum, by the current day its condition has severely decreased.
With the other owner in the LA region being the Stickmen, Dire attempted to negotiate with them to gain entrance into the new, state-of-the-art Corporate Bank Arena with the Titans and Sabercats. However, the Stickmen were being the Stickmen and Dire found it particularly difficult to work with them, and tore off negotiations with them. After building his new stadium in secret, Dire announced another press conference to unveil the new stadium. Journalists unexpectedly gathered around Corporate Bank Arena, for the potential for Dire to gain access in there for the Olympians. All of a sudden, a giant stadium appeared out of the sky and landed perfectly on top of the Corporate Bank Arena. “This, “ announced Dire, “is the Double-Double Arena on Corporate Bank Arena. Just to spite the Stickmen. In-n-Out’s worshipped like a cult so somehow they forked up enough cash to put them on top.” When asked with any question, Dire only responded about how difficult it was getting it on top of the Corporate Bank Arena. Whatever features the Corporate Bank Arena has, the Double-Double Arena has as well, except Dire insists his arena is better in every shape and form. The last question of the night was how people would get up there, to which Dire walked away awkwardly to end the press conference.

Re: AltBA Design Thread

LMAO!!! That's awesome, feels just like something that would happen in Alt Los Angeles.  Stadiums falling from the sky, the press dealing with another awkward owner situation, suspicious corporate funding of the stadiums, great stuff!

I am rather curious to find out how fans will be able to enter the arena, as rumor has it, Hockey Owner, Football Owner, and for some reason Basketball Owner Stickman are all very unhappy with the situation and have threatened to lock all the doors in Corporate Bank Arena to prevent entry.

Football Owner Stickman politely (but sternly) threatened lawsuits for what he called a literal invasion of property. He claimed Dire unreasonably expected the Stickmen to all be in person at the same time.  Given their extremely busy schedules, Stickman explained that only one of them could be present at a time, slowing down negotiations dramatically.

Basketball Owner Stickman cancelled 3 Party Gras in New Orleans before calming down over the incident.  However, rumors suggest that he also cancelled those parties due to the distractions of having to replace Gator Boy Joe (who disappeared mysterious) with Gator Boy Beau and having to replace the Crockettes with actual women instead of disguised male clowns after Dick Dingleberry sued him for mental anguish.

Hockey Owner Stickman was reportedly so angry, he even left a little surprise for the Olympians on the Corporate Bank Arena Basketball court in retaliation, (apparently forgetting that the Olympians would have their own basketball court and so would have to clean up his mess later).
