Sounds good! So the only other thing to go over is the submission process, which is quoted as such...
When you have completed your team, Captains should send the logos and jerseys to the QCS group at this email: AHSportsCollegeProject@gmail.com. Include your group number so we know who made it. We'll give you feedback on your group's thread, but we'd like to have the files so we can put them together in a consistent template for presenting. Thank you!
So the only question is how I get the files? Do you guys send me something to send them? Or can I copy and paste the pictures onto something that I coul submit to the QCS group?

Alright! I just sent our submission! Thank you all SO much for what has so far been a great experience working together on this project! I think Western Colorado University looks incredible! Now that we have gotten past that first project, I believe we can start whipping these up more easily! Can't wait!
Once our next project is posted, (I'd imagine it'll be presented later today if the QCS group is satisfied with our work, which they will be) why don't we each take a day to brainstorm what we would like to do for the next school, then we'll start posting what we think the school should be called, the city, color combos that you have in mind, and what sports we want to try out and what sports and logos each person wants to do?

Yeah, this was a GREAT category to get! Got a few ideas already for the city and which bird to use, I'll post that tomorrow after I've had some time to think!

I just wanted to put some thoughts out there before tomorrow since I'll be in a bunch of meetings tomorrow so I'm not sure how much time I'll have during the day to brainstorm.
It looks Honolulu is our city. For birds, I was thinking about the Sandpiper? It's a unique bird name and sounds pretty cool. University of Honolulu Sandpipers?
Finally, to go with the green, maybe we can use a sand and orange?

That swatch is "vintage hawaii colours" ... So maybe the green with sand and orange? Just a thought though.

I really like that shade of green! My mind went immediately to a Kelly and Gold color scheme, which I think would look gorgeous for a Hawaii team! For the mascot though I think something like Cardinals (I know it's a bit hard with the color scheme), Sparrows, Ducks or Mallards would be some collegiate names we could go with. Hawaii has a lot of unique bird names which might be tempting to choose but imagining an old school, I'm not sure if they'd pick such a unique mascot that nobody outside of Hawaii would really recognize. For example, a quick Google search leads me to find out the Rainbow Warriors we know of today started as the more basic Deans. Which leads me to support my idea of a more traditional name, as much of a downer that idea could be.
Also it shouldnt matter too much, but the founding date is way to old for a Hawaiian school. I'm going to suggest we change it to 1900-1950 since that's more align with Hawaii's history. Hawaii's oldest school irl was founded in 1907. Hawaii also wasn't a US territory until the 1890's. So I think pushing it back 100 years makes more sense
As for a first idea for a name for the country, I say Hilo, which is one of UH's bigger campus's irl, would be a good place to put the university, which makes something like Hilo University an easy choice. Hawaii State University or maybe even Coastal Hawaii University (piggybacking off the recent Coastal Florida submission)
