1966 A-C BA Finals: 2. Seattle Crew vs 2. Calgary Outlaws
Look who’s back to compete for the 49th Parallel Trophy! It’s last year’s combatants. Seattle continues their trend of winning the first game of every playoff series and takes game two to boot. Calgary fights back in games three and four to tie the series at two. The Crew regain momentum, however, and win their second championship in six games.
Congrats to the Seattle Crew for their dominance shown in these first two seasons. They will most definitely be a fore to be reckoned with in years to come.

1966 Offseason
The Seattle Crew will continue to wear the championship gold bars on their uniforms. This year, however, they will change the away wordmark and numbers to black. Again, the Crew and the Outlaws will return with banners to commemorate their success.
This year’s MVP is Kryztfer Lang, an SG for the New York Metros. His long-range shooting caught many opponents off-guard, as who would reasonably shoot from twenty-five feet out? Lang’s explosive scoring led his team to more than 32 wins.
This year, the Twin Cities Chargers will take the court in the newly-built Metropolitan Sports Center. The Met, as it is known, will seat 16,000 fans, an upgrade from the 5000-seat Roy Wilkins Auditorium. The Ottawa Herons will also be moving. From the 7500 seats of the Ottawa Auditorium, they will now play at the Ottawa Civic Centre with a capacity of 9500.
The third move this season will be more monumental. The Montreal Guerriers saw very low attendance and were sold to the owners of the now-defunct Halifax Fishermen. They will take on the Fishermen moniker and play in the 5000-seat Halifax Forum. They then fired coach Cyler Little and hired new head coach Tony Paulsen.
The logo features an interlocking H and F with a fisherman's oar joining the two together.

Liking Halifax a lot! Hopefully Arizona can get a team in the future

I like the new Halifax team. Nice color scheme. I think you could the two little lines from the F over the oar for a cleaner look and maybe thin out the paddle to less of a spoon shape but overall I dig the design.

1967 Regular Season
American:
The New York Metros continue to improve, posting 37 wins and only three losses. Kryztfer Lang continues to be a game-changer at shooting guard. After last year’s trade fiasco, the Twin Cities Chargers rally under rookie C John Faisal to take the second-place American slot. The San Diego Tigers shock many in the league and rise to third. St. Louis continues to be mediocre, sitting around .500. With stars C A.B. Morales and PF Robert Haraghty playing a combined total of nine games this season, the Crew fall far from their usual place in the playoffs. The Detroit Jets were plagued by injury and could not string together more than two wins in a row in a season they spent in the cellar.
Canadian:The Calgary Outlaws, who have not yet missed the finals, take home their first Division first-place. Outlaws PG Mike Grzelak was a particularly bright star in a fantastic constellation. The Ottawa Herons appear to have been playing the long game with their monumental trade a season ago, making the playoffs for the first time. With their move to Halifax, the former Guerriers squad has ascended to third. For the first time, the Fishermen have won more games than they lost. The Winnipeg Wolves and the Toronto Falcons have both come short of the sweet dessert of the playoffs they tasted in past seasons. The Falcons, in particular, had a meteoric fall, with last year’s division-winning teamwork nowhere to be found. The Vancouver Lumberjacks were Canada’s unfortunate cellar-dwellers this year.

1967 Playoffs
New York staves off a hungry Chargers team, taking their first Johnson Cup in five. Finally reaching the Finals for the first time in their history.
Ottawa started strong, but the traditionally great Outlaws returned to form with a reverse sweep of the Herons to win their third straight Pearson Cup.
The only two teams that have never missed the playoffs each fight to earn their first 49th Parallel Trophy.

Oh this should be an interesting matchup for sure? Any chance for expansion later on?
