Guess who's back... back again....
Picking up where we left off ... it's time for the 2007 season off-season news and standings.
To kick things off, the Bayleigh Peach Kings have revealed a new identity heading into the 2007 season:
The Peach Kings remain with the teal and peach colour scheme but have moved to a crowned B logo.

The 2007 season opened up with Cayuga raising their banners to the rafters after dominating in 2006:
The 2007 Outdoor Clash was awarded to the Lake Hope Lions, who hosted the Mount Faith Eruption at Primal Foods Stadium in Lake Hope.
The Lions brought back the dominant greys for the occasion, while Mount Faith went with a red and yellow colour rush scheme.

The 2007 standings looked as follows:
In the East, Cayuga wins the Prime Ministers Trophy for the third year in a row, running away with the regular season and they look like they will be a force in the playoffs yet again.
Cayuga will host South Beach in the first round, while Kelly City will host Bayleigh, both of whom had outstanding seasons in their own right. The road to the Pacino Cup in the East may be the toughest it's ever been as all 4 teams could realistically represent the East.
In the West, the Bentley Stars continue their playoff streak, winning the division with 132 points and will take on Dawn Mills in the first round. The other quarter final will see the Fort Theory Generals take on the Brooklynn Blackhawks.

The Seminoles management were not pleased getting shut out back to back to close the series and significant changes could be coming in the off-season.

2008 Pre-Season
With all but 1 team in the league thriving after moving away from government control, the owners voted unanimously to expand the league, and to make it significant. In order to grow the game across the country, the league introduced 8 new teams to the league, 4 in the East and 4 in the West, making the league a 24 team league. The new teams were introduced at the league expansion press conference.
Western Conference
Broadlands Raptors - Playing out of the Broadlands Civid Centre, the Raptors were named through a fan vote contest. Broadlands is most well known in the country for being home to the largest dinosaur ever found. The Raptor is on display in a local museum and the logo is cartoon version of the skeleton found. Broadlands enters the new Central Division.
New Coast Seawolves - Playing out of the NCBC Arena, the Seawolves are playing in the most northern city in Yorkland, on the border of the UPA. The coast is well known for it's wolves which patrol the border of the coast and hunt on fish that swim along the coast line. They also enter the Central Division.
Port Burnaby Patriots - Playing out of the Yorkland National Arena, Port Burnaby has grown into the national sports hub in the country as they completely went all in on the sports industry. Steiner Stetsons - Playing out of the Stampede Grounds, Steiner is home to cowboys and cowgirls. Proudly wearing their cowboy hats, their team is named after the famous Stetson cowboy hat. The Stetsons enter the league in the West Division.
Eastern Conference
Odessa Spiders - Playing out of the Odessa Auditorium (nicknamed "The Web") they enter the league in the Metro Division. Odessa joins Cayuga in the state of Kirkwall and it will be difficult for them to pry fans away from one of the powerhouse teams in the league.
Parkwoods Power - Speaking of having a hard time stealing fans, welcome to the Parkwoods Power. Home to the biggest electric company in Yorkland, the Power will play their games out of the Fenside Centre. Parkwoods is right in the middle of Mount Faith and Lake Hope, two teams with strong fanbases. Joining the Metro Division, they have 2 immediate natural rivalries.
Font Hill Chill - Entering the East Division, the Chill will be playing out of the Prevention Centre right on the Southern Ocean coast line. With Central Valley just down the coast line, the South East Rivalry should spark immediately. The Chill are named after the massive ice mounds that form during the winter months on the coast line, often running up onto the land.
Twin City Speed - Playing out of a new building at the Twin City Speedway, the Speed enter the East Division. Home to the national speedway and yearly stock car race, the Speed take on the name of what the city is most known for. Twin City and Walker City are at most an hours drive away from each other and thus the league is hoping for another rivalry to be born, much like Brooklynn and Bentley.
