We begin by revealing three of the twelve inaugural teams competing in F12. In these early days of the league, liveries will be very plain and minimal and will become more detailed and iconic as the league grows. Hopefully enough sense of each team will be displayed for everyone to choose which team and drivers they will support. Please let me know if you'd like to hear more detail or have questions about anything. Also in these early days, there will be an abundance of engine manufacturers and other companies so it will be interesting to see which ones rise to the top. With that being said, we reveal the first three teams.


Papa Worthy branded his team Worthy Motorsports, based in San Ferrio, which he founded with his brother “Uncle” Wendall Worthy. Papa's son Wes Junior, just 18 years old but already a young star, would be the primary driver. With Uncle Wendall as crew chief and mechanic at the Worthy garage, the team prepared the first official Formula-style car in Torland with a Worthy chassis and a locally made Parion engine paired with Goodwin tires, a company based in Prestonburg. Junior's friend Landon “Lando” Nickerson, 19, was recruited to be the second car driver. Despite the young ages of the drivers, the Worthy brothers feel their experience will pay off in fielding a competitive squad. Papa's huge personality should be enough to keep Worthy relevant even if their young drivers struggle. But Papa was overhead boasting to race reporter Parker Bone that his “boy was gonna kick F12's ass.”



The rivalry of Alpite Motors and Parion Motors came into play as both development teams quickly formed Grand Prix race teams. Alpite, based in Waterdee, one of the top automotive manufacturers in Torland, formed a team under co-owner Modesto Lantz, whose long interest in racing had helped develop several super engines. Lantz recuited Jude “Da Villian” daVilla and Bobby “BoRo” Romero to drive for the team, now called Alpite Racing Team and sponsored by Bisson Tires. DaVilla, 23, was a local from Hilversale and Romero, 21, was from San Ferrio, having grown up in the racing culture. Both are considered aggressive drivers, immediately giving Alpite a tough reputation, especially with Modesto's outspoken son Jack acting as crew chief.



Meanwhile, Parion Motors head of development Silas Jorgensen formed a team called Parion Motors Racing Team at their factory in San Ferrio with a second garage in Meresso and secured a contract with rising star Nathan Najera as lead driver and the experienced Byron “BG” Giroux as second driver. Najera, 19, had already made noise at local circuits in Meresso and seemed primed for a leap into formula cars. Najera is already a slick technical driver. Giroux, 27, was from Narva and had helped build the race culture in Forstana, particularly around Bisson Tires in Bethea. Parion's focus on endurance will be well served with Najera and Giroux under crew chief Kristofer “Santa” Clough, one of the premiere mechanics and engineers in Torland.

Thanks! It has turned into a bit of a tire war, even without intending it, but it shows all these new companies are fighting for dominance and F12 seems like a perfect way to gain traction in the decade.


We have three primary tire companies: Bisson (bee-son) is based in Bethea, Forstana, just outside of Narva, and has a loyal following in Torland on a well-known brand. Yaeger is based in Kirlow and the oldest of the three companies, with a bit of a smaller reach but a very loyal brand and successful company. Goodwin is based in Prestonburg and is the newest but has been growing very quickly, especially in the southeast.

Next up we have a trio of racing teams to introduce, all sponsored by Yaeger.


Kirlow-based automobile manufacturer Klibekraft decided to sponsor a team and provide their chassis and engine to lead developer Kip Schmitt and a local tire sponsorship with Yaeger Tires. The brands of Klibekraft and Yaeger are synonymous with each other, having been founded by two friends in Conrad Klibe and Hans Yaeger in Kirlow. Klibe-Schmitt Racing would continue to focus on development of high capacity engines while building an F12 race team. Schmitt brought in local legend Richie Schifflett to be lead driver, who even at 30 is still a very capable racer. Rising driver Ty Rodgers, 24, was brought in from Sina to be secondary. Chris Klibe, grandson of Conrad, would be chief mechanic at the Klibe works facility.


With Yaeger on the prowl for more sponsorships, they reeled in Kurohara-based brothers Rodrick and Cedrick Yanez. The Yanez garage features both brothers as primary drivers with Rod, 27, covering more business and Ced, 24 usually in lead driver position. Their main mechanic is their cousin Robbie Otero who keeps things running. The Yanez tribe is fun-loving with a great joy for all things racing, including airplanes and helicopters. They have a partnership with local company Dalwen Motors, which is primarily focused on aero but have recently delved into sports cars and potential luxury brand consumer vehicles.



Looking to score a trifecta, aging racing icon Jasper Graig was recruited by Yaeger and talked into forming a race team out of his Silkeboro, Pakola-based garage. Many think Graig is way past his prime and not in tune with modern racing but he's well-known and still popular with the money crowd. Graig chose a Murray engine from his own sponsored company in Silkeboro. Murray's sports engines are still not fully tested so it could be a big risk for Graig to go with it for a full season but he was not to be deterred. He nabbed a pair of experienced drivers in Danny Cathey and Clint Curtiss to head up the drive team. He chose Murray mechanic Mac MacIntosh to helm the garage.

The first six are revealed and now we head to the final six of inaugural race teams.
