Football Owner Stickman stepped up to the podium to announce the now 5th pick in the AltFL Rookie Draft, flanked by his beloved wiener dogs, Ketchup and Mustard.  

"First, I'd like to announce that the Los Angeles Sabercats have traded away their 19th pick later this round, along with Wide Receiver Amari Cooper, to the Boston Nightriders for a 2nd Round Rookie draft pick in 2023 and for Quarterback Deshaun Watson" the always weirdly calm and polite Stickman stated.  "I know there's risk involved with Watson given he could be suspended, but we believe when he does play again, he'll come out like a ball of fire and play at an MVP level".

"Now, for our selection.   The Los Angeles Sabercats are very impressed with this class of Wide Receivers and it was extremely tough to select one.   However, we have decided that Wide Receiver Garrett Wilson out of Ohio State has just too much potential to let stay undrafted any longer.   Welcome to Los Angeles Garrett!"

With the 6th selection of the 2022 AltFL Rookie Draft, the San Antonio Phantoms select Kayvon Thibodeaux, defensive end from Oregon.

With the 8th pick. The Arizona Scorpions select Jameson Williams, WR from Alabama

The Milwaukee Mallards select Kyle Hamilton, Safety, Notre Dame.
