The Titans return to the playoffs with the hopes of returning to their glory of 2004. The Rovers on the other hand are trying to claim their record 3rd title. In this particular series, the underdog Rovers establish supremecy for the East Division.

#2 Philadelphia Founders versus #3 Charlotte Racers
The defending Adams Cup Champion and current East Division winners, the Philadelphia Founders skate with Charlotte with a lot on the line. The Racers looking twilight in the eye as the fear of missing their window is coming into focus. This year the champs keep their title defense alive with yet another defeat of the Racers. I promise I am not doing this on purpose..but the curse continues for the Charlotte.

***It never came up last season but Wayne Gretzky played 37 games for the Rovers in 1996. After failing to establish chemistry with line mate Brett Hull, Wayne Gretzky decided to hit free agency and ultimately signed with the reigning champion Founders. He gets to reunite with his former Sawblade teammate, captain, Mark Messier and his former Owls teammate Luc Robitaille.
