SPECIAL PROJECT RESULTS
After our 48 hour blitz we have our four final cities! From now until Tuesday we are open to name submissions for all four cities. Then we vote for the name for each city. Finally we will enter the Battle Royale Stage. But for now let the naming stage begin for these four cities:

The Minnesota Loons Dating Game
Milwaukee versus Winnipeg

The 'Bring Hockey to the South' Telethon
Houston versus Charlotte (QCS will rejoice!)

LOONS DATING GAME
Milwaukee Hogs (reference to both the meat and sausage industry and to Harley-Davidson)
Winnipeg Black Bears (named after a London Zoo bear of that name, the inspiration for Winnie-the-Pooh)
HOCKEY IN THE SOUTH
Houston Blast (name ties in to the oil and space travel themes for which Houston is known)
Carolina Corsairs (tie-in to Blackbeard, who based his operations in what is now the Carolinas)
