We begin the second season of the AltBA with the draft. A couple of notable things happen later this season.

1.) Early in the season, Magic Johnson announces his retirement and announces that he has contracted HIV. This was an historic moment in the league's history.

2.) This is also the last season in the career of Larry Bird. His back injuries just became too much for him to continue. These two retirements ended the Magic/Bird era of the league.

3.) Finally, at the end of the season Pistons long time coach Chuck Daly retires from coaching. This ends the Pistons famed Bad Boys era.

If Im correct, Texas should be back in the playoffs. Hopefully we can win the conference this year.
