We had an uncharacteristically bad game against St Laurent, and they crushed us while we couldn't get anything going. We'll start conference play at 2-2 against in our new conference at home against Wichita A&M, who also come in at 2-2. They had a pretty putrid week as well, so they'll want to start HAC play on a high note. Senior wideout Jamaal Pritchett was the lone offensive spotlight last week, catching 6 passes for 68 yards and a TD. We'll have the Green-Out at home this week to kick our time in the HAC. #BringTheBoom

Johns Island has made it through our non-conference slate with four wins and no losses, as one of just three teams to do so. This is when things start to get real, though, as our first ECC game takes us north of the border as we visit les Patriotes de St. Laurent. We may be 4-0 on the year and they may be 2-2, but everybody has a clean slate this week. We bested Wichita A&M in part thanks to a breakout performance from WR/TE Jack Bech, whose 166 yards (all receiving) and two touchdowns were both tied for second on the team last week. #GoldLeaf

Hawaii State keeps flying, opening the conference slate with a win over Michigan Institutional and pushing our record to 5-0. This week is back in Honolulu, where we welcome in the Threshers from Minnesota A&M. The Threshers are also coming off an opening win in conference, so we're looking to gain that advantage. We'll be in late night Hawaiian time action packed action, and so will be in the Basalt set, black helmets, jerseys and pants. We're highlighting quarterback Jalen Milroe, who had 374 yards passing, 117 yards rushing, 2 touchdowns through the air and 2 touchdowns on the ground in the win over the Bucks. #FlyingHI

After a heartbreaking home loss to Johns Island, who staged a late comeback to stay undefeated and drop the Patriotes to 2-3, St. Laurent hopes to bounce back as we travel to Ohio to face another new conference rival, the winless Ohio A&M Fightin' Muskrats. The Patriotes will be in their standard away set—navy helmet, white jersey, white pants, and navy socks. Senior quarterback Cameron Ward retakes the spotlight after an impressive performance in the loss last week, throwing for 343 yards and four touchdowns while adding 57 rushing yards and a rushing TD. #RenaissancePatriote

The Angels had a bit of a scare up in La Belle Province, but thanks to some late-game heroics by (among others) WR Tez Johnson, we were able to come back and pull out a win to move to 5-0. Johnson finished with 121 receiving yards and tied last week's feature, Jack Bech, with a team-high two TD catches. With that in the books, we now head down to Pennsylvania, where the Hershey Wildcats await. With the Angels undefeated and the Cats having just one loss on their season, this may be one of the most important games of the year for both squads, so this'll be one to keep an eye on. #GoldLeaf

Our time in the HAC is off to a bad start, as we blew an early lead to allow Wichita A&M to come back late and hand us our first conference loss and puts us below .500 once again. We hit the road up north to Riel for our first conference matchup against them, as they're following a cyclical pattern of winning, then losing, and then winning again. Leading the ground game last week was senior RB Antario Brown, who gained 114 yards rushing and an additional 11 yards receiving. We'll be in the regular aways for another game to put us back at the even mark. #BringTheBoom

And there's one undefeated team left in the nation and the first to crest the guaranteed .500 threshold on the season to be bowl eligible. Hawaii State currently sits at 6-0 and looks to move to 7-0 as we head to Minnesota to take on the Twin Cities Lakers. The Lakers have had a rough go of things this season, and we intend to make this season a little rougher for them. We'll be in the all white uniforms, helmet, jersey and pants, as usual. We will be featuring star wide receiver Emeka Egbuka who had only 71 yards receiving, but hauled in 3 touchdowns. #FlyingHI

Well, the Johns Island Angels are no longer undefeated, having dropped their first game of the season on the road against Hershey. We'll look to move past it, as we return home, and we face another tough test this week with the Hallows Headless Horsemen coming to town. Hallows has been a strong team all season, so there won't be much margin for error. For the second time this season, and the first time since week 1, we're featuring our quarterback, Jordan McCloud. Jordan spread the ball around against the Wildcats, throwing for 252 yards and three TDs, along with a pretty sweet rushing TD. #GoldLeaf

St. Laurent is back home at 3-3 after a solid win on the road at Ohio A&M, and now we start a crucial two-game homestand. First up: the 5-1 Hershey Wildcats, fresh off a huge win over the previously undefeated Johns Island Angels. It’s going to be a tough test, but we’re ready to defend Stade Papineau in our classic home look—navy helmet, navy jersey, navy pants, and red socks. This week, all eyes are on transfer RB/WR Noah Short, who made a splash in his debut with 121 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 11 rushing yards. #RenaissancePatriote

Our receiving core carried us to a win over Riel, evening out both our conference and our overall record. Let's just not question how we got 678 receiving yards from 158 passing yards, the math just works that way. We return back home to the Kidd this week for a North Star Bowl rematch from last year against Lone Star, which is now a conference game thanks to realignment. Our leading receiving leader (outside of RB Des Reid, who had 155 receiving yards) was senior WR Ja'Corey Brooks, who caught 3 passes for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns. #BringTheBoom
